I remember you telling me about this story and I have been waiting to read it for the longest...I liked the first part... Marvellous wrap up to this great story - right after reading the title "When man becomes legend", what is such a wonderful thought, I knew I would love it and how I did! A perfect ending, Sam and Dean together, not giving up on each other ("Dean's...body just wanted to close down too but his heart told him that would be the ending of something even hell never managed to take away from him", so true), really inseparable, enjoyed this endlessly!

Sorry I'm so late with this, but there was the amazing final episode (our boys are back together, so wonderful and did you hear Dean's "Sammy, let's go", aww it's Sammy again!!) and I have an eye infection and shouldn't read or write at all, but here I am now. What a deep and touching insight into Dean's and Sam's hearts and a fantastic face-off between the freeborn and Sam (creepy, frightening but wow what a story), just adore the way you write this - have to quote my favorite lines here: /...maybe he did leave an essential piece of himself back there but right now he would try this without it and just be a brother again./He needed to live, he needed to keep awake and be alert, to stand down and defend the only thing that made him hold on to this world in the first place...Sammy./Sam's soul left the dark place it had travelled to and focused on the warm music playing in his ears."SAMMMMYYY!" "DEAN...DEAN..IN HERE!!!" Truly nothing but grand, thank you so much! Together they will overcome the freeborn, everything in fact I believe and I can't wait to read the next chapter! Leo is much better, thanks for your wishes, his mom panicked a bit, but now everything is okay!

Hey, so good to have you back, missed you a lot! And once more you gave us a perfect chapter, compelling and full of expressive images - "Sam's heart was racing as he felt a strange feeling getting hold on his soul", simply adore this line, and Dean's change, his healing so strongly caused by the connection with Sam, just like it has to be, brothers side by side and no freeborn or whatever can take this away from them, like Dean said "it's my job", this goes for both, beautifully written!

You always manage to surprise and intrigue me even more, what a totally stunning chapter!! Breathtaking revelations, a brilliant turn the freeborn's legend "begins at the end" and Sam's fierce and unconditional fight for Dean's life and sanity makes this an amazing read (so loved Sam's "...I'm afraid...he's going to...let go...I even would understand it, but as long as he's trying...I'm gonna try along with him!" Yeah!). Dying to know now how hell is going to help killing the freeborn - more please!

Fantastic, Sam's talk with the girl was so creepy, feeling very surreal!; somehow it seemed there was a connection between them and I wonder (hope it will be this way actually) if Sam can save Dean by using this!!!

This is so damn good, I'm still holding my breath, you make their fear so real, very intense and oppressive scenes! The lore of the freeborn you created and also how the colt affects human victims is nothing but fascinating. To learn now the freeborn will be back to finish what it started is - considering Dean's fragile state - downright scary, but I loved what Bobby told Sam, the chance to fight it is their brotherly bond ("The thing he's afraid of is pain Sam...not love.", beautiful!!!). GREAT!

Bobby (this guy is a blessing!) better hurries, Sam is breaking right with his brother and you couldn't describe it in a better way, if one of them goes down, the other one isn't far behind, what makes their bond so special, truly "two souls with but a single thought", devastating to watch Sam's sorrow and Dean's suffering ("He went back to the pit Bobby and I made him do it."!), great great job here!!! Put my trust now in Bobby connecting the cookies to the freeborn, might be the only trace they have to save Dean! And - as always - it is a pleasure to review!!

"Count the pain away", ah kid, I'm all in tears here, heartbreaking countdown and I think this is nearly as painful for Sam as it is for Dean. Wonderful moment when Sam could calm Dean by telling him he has to cause him pain because he loves him "like a brother" (and we know how much this means to them)! But it's not over yet, right? Can this get any more desperate? Right now it feels like they are on a road to perdition, Dean not even recognising Sam anymore, caught in this horror, scared to death and Sam helpless and frightened, you really get the sense how awful this situation must be for them, great intense description (my heart is nearly going a mile a minute)! Just hope Sam got the hint about the cookiegirl/freeborn and most importantly can stop the bleeding! Once more, can't wait for the update!

I'm the kind of writer that just comes up with a thing or two but makes the story as I go along , sometimes that is like cutting of my own hands and making me unable to write any further like I'm stuck or something. Honestly, this here is getting better and better and it just hurts to see Dean so scared and lost; the fear is the worst of it, this can really eat your soul, stunning description (favorite line, perfectly expressing this, "...Dean came back different...not turned but different, like he was scared on the inside, a wound Sam couldn't help him heal and made him sad")!!! Deeply thankful Sam is with his brother, he has to find a way to help, very touching to see his affection for Dean and how much he cares (and I need to see this now more than ever!). Sorry this is so long, got a bit carried away, but it's soooo good!

I don't know the movie called don't look now but when I was a young toddler I've seen one with a goblin in a red raincoat and it always kept on dwelling in my mind. It's really getting scary, the second "girl" with the red raincoat isn't funny anymore, not at all and the way it is following Dean, that feels very strange, creepy! For Dean with all the sorrow and pain he has to deal with it seems more than he can handle right now. So, could you bring Sam back to help him, think Dean needs his brother quite desperately (he wouldn't admit to it naturally); Sam's note by the way was totally lovely, so much showing his affection, very Sam! More please!
