I knew Sam was storing that up for the proper time for revenge - lol. Hmm, well I hope that teaches Dean definitely not to bite on the first date. Interesting that she let him go instead of trapping him in that idyllic world with her. And it was wonderful that he heard Sam, found out he was alive and went straight back. I could just picture Sam's quiet, almost deadly "I told you" directed at the doctor after Dean woke up. Great job, Muffy. Sorry it took me so long to get back to this one. Holy crap...... So it was going to take Sam down as probably the final barrier to its taking Dean. And of course, there was no way that Dean was going to let it kill his little brother. Great fight between Sam and the wolverine, but yikes, when that thing kept getting bigger, I thought Sam was going to be turned into spaghetti...... And Dean hit the wall......not good..... Jules

Ah! The helicopter was coming to check on the forest fire, yes? Great thinking on Sam's part - oh, and I loved the coffee bit. That was sneaky of Sammy, but very worthy of a Winchester. Poor Sam, when he crawled out of the cave only to not see the chopper - he must have been out for longer than he thought. Hopefully that means the boys are rescued. But where is Arf? Jules

Oh, yikes, how did I lose this story? Sorry Muffy - you can beat me with my own stuffed panda....*hangs head*..... So loved the snark in this, and the mirrored disorientation of the boys as they woke up. Oh, and that mental image of Dean's finger waving back and forth from the mound of rubble - ROFL! And the think line - that was an absolute cack. Hmm, got me wondering about Arf now. Is she or isn't she a wolverine...... "We haunt Bobby"...*snicker*

wow! Great story. Whew, the boys were really in a mess! I like how Bobby said that Dean wouldn't have bit the animals, right.....then the explanation of why Arf was so attached to Dean! Nice touch with the MOTW supernatural wolverine! And just the right amount of hurt, without too much medical jargon, or too much gory description. All we know is the brothers' description...."It's bad". That's enough to get our own imaginations going!! Great job!

*sighs contentedly* Now I think I need to go back and reread this from the very beginning. I love how you made Arf- well - sorta human. And I love that I'm not totally sure that Dean is completely free of her. Nice wrap up of this story- I'd almost forgotten that it started off as a drabble. I loved this thing from the start and I'm sad to see it come to an end- but it will undoubtedly go down as one of my faves- of course- most of yours always do. Thanks hun... Now I'm off to read it all again!

Aarf - 1 Nurse - 0 hahahhaa... Gotta love Bobby's frankness... light a fire in a hospital,... no problem- there's just lots of flammable gas everywhere... but its the only way... hahahahaa... I loved the way you described the battle between Sam and Aarf though... it was like watching the battle between Kurt Russel and The Thing play out in my head... Awesome bit there... and who can pass up the whole "I gotcha" between brothers.. I really need to go back and reread this whole bit from beginning to end at some point... and enjoy it in one full sitting... totally worth the wait!

Thanks for the amazing update! This story has had me completely enthralled from the moment I started reading. Poor Dean, only a Winchester get themselves in a mess this crazy!
