Oh, that makes me want to cry. I HATED how they ended 4.11. *tear* Great comparison though, to Sam in the second half of season 2.
Author's Response: When I saw the first scene of 4.11 (love that scene!), I thought Dean running ragged trying to save the whole of humanity was going to be the theme of the ep. They didn't give it as much weight as I thought they would, which left me with this little guy niggling at my mind.. Thanks so much for the r'n'r. Glad you approve :)

This was a comparison I hadn't thought of before. It fits perfectly. It gives me a lot to think about in just 100 words!
Author's Response: Thanks, I do love writing drabbles! Professional story teller, huh? That haas to be about the coolest job I've ever heard of :)

Damn, he probably does think he can't be saved, doesn't he? Winchesters and guilt never go well together. I love this, btw. It's amazing how you can say so much about him, and what he feels, in so little words. Truly great!
Author's Response: Thanks, I appreciate it. I figure he thinks he already became a monster and nobody stopped him, the way Sam was begging to be stopped... I do love the drabble format, it's a challenge, but not too binding :)

oh boy. and here i was thinking the day was looking all bright and smiley again... but i love it! Such a perfect connection between them, yet still so different - and somehow, nothing new. It's almost as if he's just realising who he's been trying to save all these years, hell just the final nail in the coffin for him. Hell, he gave up the dream world in What Is... for the people who died in that reality, as much as anything. and all that, in 100 words - fantastic! cal
Author's Response: Bright and smiley? What universe do you live in? Thanks for the r'n'r dear :)

nicely done. I liked how you showed Dean's emotions in this drabble. the last line was perfect. bambers;)
Author's Response: Thanks for that :) I do still think there's hope for Dean, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't :)

It's scaring, that's exactly what I saw when Dean made his confession to Sam, that he's completely lost and it is really too late for him, his soul devastated, you perfectly catched it, grand!!!
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it. I quite like this character development, it's risky but it could work out really well. Certainly explains why Dean didn't think he deserved to be saved...
