Grand ending to this exceptional story, as fragile and in the balance everything still is, they're holding on to each other, that's what counts in the end! Loved Benedict, hope we will see him again. Thank you for a great ride!

Two grand chapters, Bobby's "Boy are we in trouble" expressed their situation very pithy, but so accurate. Incredible how you catch the atmosphere, I endlessly enjoy this story! Benedict is a fascinating character, could he be the answer? ("..hunters...their souls tarnished and their spirits broken, blood on their skin. They...seemed to like the way he drew the poison without even trying"), god, I wish he can help in any way! Dean's nightmare and the aftermath were just horrifying, nearly unbearable to watch what it does to them, so intense it hurts ("Don't let go, he wanted to sob, don't you let me go."/"He could tell Sam really didn't want to let go. He could tell that Sam really wanted to wrap him up in his arms and hug him to death."), PERFECT!

Grand update, showing in a very painful way in which bad shape both Dean and Sam are, barely holding it together, Dean paralyzed with his fear, it seems he's drowning in it (his "How long have we got, Sam?...How long do you think we've got? was so sad) and also Sam, so worn down and helpless. That Bobby with his own fears tries to help is my ray of hope here! One detail really hit me, didn't think about it before, Dean being so afraid of dogs now, it must be so scary for him! You so catch this debilitating atmosphere of this all, very tough reading, but a marvellous one!!

This seems to be turning into an awesome kind of story - Keep it coming!

It was actually well worth reading, despite the weird formatting quirk, which required me to scroll back & forth across the page.  Good writing!

This is really great and beautifully written ! It almost took my breath away , the way you describe deans torment and the feelings that seem to drive him crazy are so realistic ! Great job !
