Hi, Vanessa,

I've been following this story but I've been very naughty - I've been lurking...*hangs head in shame*.... So this weekend I decided to stop being lazy, log in and catch up on some long overdue reviews.

First, I was hooked from the moment Dean thought the coffee and food was cold. Even more intrigued when Sam first took Dean's temp and it was down by point 6 of a degree.

And then when Dean burned his hands - yeouch! I knew that something other than the hike through the snow at two in the morning had to be doing this. And now Dean has done a bunk - or been taken...*cue scary music*...

Hope Sam finds him soon.

Well, whatever Bobby is doing I hope it works. I don't think Dean can take much more. Love how Sam will do anything to help his brother even if it means ribbing for the rest of his life.

Thank heavens Bobby is there at last but they are so not out of the woods yet! Why do I think it's going to be a very tough and nasty fight? Certainly enjoyed caring Sam and the little bed scene with vulnerable Dean was nice, so nice!! Great chapter!

It's getting really desperate in there, isn't it? What will Sam do if Dean's temperature (and this temperature thing totally freaks me!) is dropping below 95.0, he couldn't risk to bring him to the hospital. Despite everything sick Dean is simply adorable, "...his expression child-like in its desperation. 'Please - Sammy, please lemme go'" was so sweet!! Bobby has to hurry, afraid Sam will fall asleep after all - this here is sooo good, love it!

Thank God for Bobby!  what would those boys do without him?  And aren't they always up against the clock when it comes to Dean?

I love the urgency of the story.  My only question is why couldn't you have written a story in Florida?  It's so cold here now I can honestly sympathize with Dean.

I'm delighted there will be more chapters!! Very scary description of what happened to Dean and I can't help it, I'm getting more and more worried their time is running out ("...Dean skin was pale to the point of translucence, the circles encompassing his eyes were now a dark purple, and his lips were a shade more bluish than they'd been just a little while ago", definitely deteriorating!). God, just hope Bobby can get there in time and Sam will be able to stay at Dean's side; you had a very sweet scene here expressing Sam's caring and affection, "Sam rearranged the covers over Dean, tucking them in as if Dean were a five year old." More please!!

When Bobby says it's serious and they are racing against time, it is really bad, definitely feels this way! Dean already is so much under that spell, drawn to the lake (intriguing!) and I'm afraid they will have to fight it there. One detail that totally gives me the creeps is Dean's temperature dropping, really does, maybe because it is so cold where I live right now (don't like it a bit). Great update!!
