Perfect ending, I'd almost forgot about Mabel until now & it was so sweet how you wrote her into the ending. This last chapter is probably one of my favorites, because it's nice to see the boys healing again. And honestly, I think this was just the right amount of limp Sam & angst. It tied up all the loose ends, and had some awesome brotherly moments.

Yep, I love Mabel. That was a sweet ending, bringing it almost full circle. Love how Dean remembered Mabel's request, and how proudly he introduced his brother. That was sweet - Sam drugged to the gills with the good stuff, trying to reassure Dean that it wasn't his fault. Can just see those clumsy swipes at Dean's arm and hear that slurred, husky voice. Love how Bobby ran interference for Dean with the cops. And poor Howard - I sort of felt sorry for him at the end - Dean was right, he did lose both daughters that day. And Sam, knowing his big brother's voice and responding. That was a lovely moment. Jules

Dean made the only choice he could have - he couldn't save both - he had to choose his brother. Sierra would have fought him like a wildcat, and they all would have died. But he's probably going to feel the guilt just the same. Jules

Oh wow, this was so awesome. Dean has the touch when it comes to Sammy. There is so much trust and comfort between the two of them. Just love it. Sounds like they both are going to have a rough road ahead as Dean tries to get over his guilt feelings and Sam recovers from his physical and emotional injuries. Bobby is going to in for a tough time. Coudn't make the link on ff.net work, so I came over here to read. I know you always post here to. I'm glad for it.
