Dean waited until he was certain Sam was asleep before he pulled out the crumpled pieces of newspaper he had snatched out of Bobby's pocket when he had pretended to stumble. He hated tricking the older hunter, but both him and Sam were hiding something from him, and he damn sure was going to find out what it was. - Tricky Tricky Dean.

I was so glad to see Bobby return! I'm glad Dean isn't upset with him. I understand why Sam is angry but it was still hard to read. Marvelous chapter! Love that Dean didn't really fall but was picking pockets.

This story started off pretty good but you lost me. Couldn't get past the 'amputation'. I guess the 'general' label fits, but I'm still waiting for the 'action'. I don't care for AU fics, only the ones that are TRUE to the show. Kudos to people who live with handicaps and excel in everyday life, but a hunter's life? Don't see it. What happens when Dean encounters a 10' high chainlink fence on a prosthetic leg, for one? Of course, the point of this site is to showcase creative writing, which you seem to have done. Quite a few readers do like your work but in the future, please label your story correctly so fans of such know to stop and read, or skip over. Happy writing!
