I like Dean's POV more than i like Sam's in Blue Crayon's... But that's just because, when I think of Dean's emotions, I think; hearwrentching, mindblowing, nuclear reaction, a-bomb, fantasticmegamonsterfragilistic...something something etc. etc. and I think you are very good at capturing his feelings. You respect the chracter, but at the same time you make them your own and that is unique and amazing to read...

I think I have used the word: amazing A LOT when reviewing your stories, but every one is true... keep up the great work...

Ok, I totally loved the foreshadowing. I can see why the boys would have forgotten this occurrence; not because it was by any means forgettable, but because they wouldn't want to remember it.
