Hee-Oh great now I can't stop giggling with the picture of Sam's perilous encounter with the savage birdlife and that of a snowy Dean cushion! OOh- Sam may be slightly Swiss-cheesed in the head, but at least he was saved from that bear trap. Interesting build up with the ghost watching and herding the boys for some purpose

Another great chapter- I like the way you've got the brothers' reactions and their understanding of how to deal with each other. Poor Dean has been very busy collecting Christmas souvenirs- holly and ivy. It will be interesting to see what other gems the boys encounter. Sounds like the boys have survived a few strange Christmases and I'm so glad my own never included a "John Hike & Hunt Special"!

Sneaky start there girls! I liked the image of the "perfect winter scene" interupted by Dean's vocal response to his ghostly mishap! Only Dean could be "lucky" to fall into a holly bush- this is definitely not boding well for the boys' Christmas hunt!

okay. as promised weeks ago (sorry, bev). thanks for sharing this story. it touched my heart at Christmas and made my chance to go home and see family even more meaningful....and then got me through the grueling tech weeks i returned to after christmas. lovely story. and i really enjoy the characters you brought in at the end. keep them.

I don't read WIP so I finally got to read this and I'm very glad I did. I loved the humor mixed with the angst and pain and was very glad that the boys got their Merry Christmas after all. Can't wait for the sequel. The only problem I had were the British-isms. Some I weren't familiar with at all like "grip". Otherwise, I loved it all.

Well!!! I thought this tale would end with a lovely ride into the sunset!! But you've set up a whole other story!! Evie's totally on the board with the demon thing.....didn't expect that! She's a great lady. Dean's got an awful lot of healing to do so he's ready for this next adventure, especially if he's getting set up by those 2 beings. I'm not liking the sound of them!! But hey....it's the Winchesters.....bring it on!!!!

Rest assured that Dean is healing nicely in those red silk sheets, Jane and I are paying particular attention to his every need! heehee We weren't ready to have them ride into the sunset just yet so have just completed chapter one of the new story. So many "wow"s in this chapter. The boys definitely would have thought they died and went to heaven in that beautiful suite. Sure beats the nasty joints they're used to. That alone is a well-deserved treat for our bruised heroes!! Then the whellchair!!! OMG! Dean would hate one on a good day, much less the gaudily decorated one!! And charles.....he's a hoot! What a riot!

Okay I confess I only submit reviews because I want you to write more. I wasn't sure what to think about this story when I started it but after chapter one you had me totally hooked. So thank you again for a great read. I'm looking forward to the epilogue ....not to mention the continuation of your other great stories as well as the new ones you'll surprise us with in 2009! I love your work and I love your portrayal of Dean and Sam's relationship so please don't leave us for another fandom - keep writing these great stories!
