Thank you!  I've written several vignettes in the 'verse based on writing challenges and requests from folks who asked for them.  This was one of my personal favorites, along with its companion piece - "A Song and a Smile for the Banjo."

This is part of a series of vignettes I wrote for a hetfic writing community that I moderate on Livejournal.  They're all based in my Strange Angels 'verse but are a bit more experimental.  So I am always pleased when folks like them!
