don't give up! your writing is freaky, wierd, funny and scary in all the right ways - a welcome breath of fresh air amidst all the gloom the rest of us wallow in...! and in the middle of that, you still manage to write the boys perfectly, giving us a glimpse into the minds of the characters we all know and love so very much... Oh that was genius! I so KNEW Dean was going to finish that line with the Stones! lol. Totally freaky Dean, man! I love how you showed that Dean's time as torturer in the pit could be used to their advantage -- but damn! He was seriously scary! I'm grinning like a loon because I loved this chapter that much.

Oh. My. GOD. I think I need to go have a good cry after that. What are you doing to me woman?!? What the hell is that freak Matthew Bosun messing with? From what they've seen, and Dean's reaction to it, I'm guessing it's BAD. This story just keeps getting better and better. Dean's meltdown after seeing that demony thing and smelling 'the pit' again was so frightening, and Sam singing Metallica to draw him out of his shell-shock was a real stroke of genius. My throat is still tight from trying not to cry. Well done. Seriously.

Oh gosh that was bittersweet and sad, wasn't it? I love how you've managed to really tackle the PTSD issues, as well as Sam's conflicting feelings of grief, frustration, and joy at having Dean back, while at the same time weaving in a really interesting plot with Matthew Bosun and the mysterious hangings. I know I keep saying it, but this story is seriously awesome.
