Amen, Dean. I still don't understand why some religions think that a diety controls everything that happens to every person. It's a sick belief, because that makes god a sadist, or a child playing with toys. And like Dean here, I could never worship or obey a god like that, no matter how powerful he/she was or what he/she could do to me. Sorry, this theodicy problem monotheism creates always brings up a lot of anger for me. Well written. Thank you.

That was beautifully done. I loved the perspective of Sam not being privy to their conversation, but still being able to hear Dean's responses. And Dean choosing him. Just wonderful.

Stunning, beautiful, a perfect piece! Dean and kids, that's always near magic, Sam the living proof of this. So Sam was the one person, who could help and comfort Dean here, once more sealing their special bond, totally loved it!!

I absolutely love the parallel you drew between the "weight" on Dean's shoulders growing up as compared to the "weight" now and the responsibility that lays at his feet.
Beautifully done- heartbreakingly tough... I love your work..

I really enjoyed your take on Dean's heart break over the dead child. I can easily see him reacting this way. I'm glad that Castiel gave Dean the space he needed. Love the ending with Sam and Dean.
