Very interesting perspective of grief that Sam and Caleb experience, losing sight of who they are because the person who defined them, in what they believed was their most important role, is gone. That was a very powerful technique!

So it took Caleb 25 years and almost 90 stories to finally hit Dean... It was about time! Another great chapter, like your way to match up with the show, but always in a Brotherhood-ish way. 'You only got one chance to set a precedent. Dean was about to mark his reign.' And how freakin' cool is that!!!

A whole story in 3 days, Christmas is definitely here early. Thank you.
Love Dean's way of dealing with Griffin and co, carrying the plastic and tape in with him certainly sent a definite message albeit subtle.
The emotional stuff with Mac, Caleb and Sammy was nicely done and I like that they are now the official Triad and have accepted it as a team.

Here in the UK, we are still waiting for season 4 to commence, but ITV2 have assured me that it will be shown early in the New Year which will be the end of January if last year is anything to go by. I tell you this, in the hope that if future stories reference specific events in Season 4 they carry a spoiler warning, then I will know to wait before reading as I'm currently doing with lots of other stories on this site.
Again many thanks for this wonderful world you have created and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours.

wow I barely had time to read chapter 1 before the next was up. Thanks so much for not leaving us hanging.
Caleb and Sam's grief was excellently portayed. I love how much it has physically changed them, and loved their telepathic conversations! This Sam is so broken and hard and yet is still Sam underneath. Love how he tries to convince himself Ruby is ok even after what she did to Josh - he is so blinded by grief and obsession to get Dean back. Heart breaking to see Caleb and Mac so distant. And Im distraught that Esme and Mac are still estranged ( please fix that soon) Also so glad to hear Dean ask about Josh, Im dying to see how it is.
And lastly I love take charge guardian Dean determined to go clean house, sort out Griffin and get the brotherhood up and rolling - Go Dean you know you can do it. Really hoping the next update is as quick. Thanks again for your great story

Christmas has come early. Yipee. The second chapter already, what a mega treaat. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And what a wonderful chapter it is too. Dean is back (Yipee again) and in ass kicking mood too. What a wonderful change from all the heartache and angst of the past year in the run up to his deal. But what does he have planned for Griffin? Not sure, but I shall enjoy the waiting and wondering with a light heart now the Brotherhood has its rightful guardian back.

Excellent chapter! I was worried for a second you weren't planning on going the whole Castiel route, but it seems you are. (Or I sure hope you are. I luuuurve him).

"I'll take an echo over an abyss any day." An echo of hope over an abyss of dispair, thank you for that echo of hope. I was too close to needing yet more tissues having barely recovered from Dean's death at the end of your last story.
