I really liked this. I liked how you took parts of A Very Supernatural Christmas (one of my favorite SPN episodes) and add your personal touch to it. I also liked the setup of this chapter. This story brought a smile to my face and reinforced why I like SPN so much. Very well written story!

Oh wow, Steph! This was absolutely stunning!
Sure, he had the Impala and while Dean acted like that was his most prized possession, Sam knew better. Dean could manage to part with the old classic on a daily basis, but never this. Never a small little trinket that probably looked like a piece of junk to any other person.

Never a child’s gift.

That is so perfect. I truly adore how important that necklace is to Dean, and the fact that Sam was the one to give it to him is what makes it such a great focus for a story. And you've pulled it off beautifully! Thanks for a fantastic one shot!
