Just absolutely loved Nate going "home" with his mother, that he always saw the light at the edge of his vision, his mother always there waiting for him to come home. I hope Sammy can get Dean to open up once he gets some bourbon to open him up! Fantastic story!

I loved this chapter. What Dean is ready to do for Nate is amazing. I can't wait for the last chapter but in the same time I'm a little sad that this wonderful story is coming to an end.

I have been very re-miss in not jumping in to review every chapter, but I have been haunting my inbox, looking for each new chapter. This is just another stunning story. I am sad for it to end too. I really like how you are handling the deal - both from Dean and Sam's perspectives. I love that Dean is able to find solace in taking Nate's sins -- and that Nate accepted. It was perfect when Sam just stood and walked away -- that's the Sam we all know and love (and miss!!!). Will this mean that your next story will deal with the "end" or after Dean is back? Such a different dynamic we have now with the boys... I know that I will enjoy the last chapter (wishing as always that it wasn't the last) and then I'll be very interested to see what your next story is about...

I worry about Dean being "Dr. Dean". Hopefully his arm will heal without any complications. Seems like Dean's time is running out to help Nate. I hope he can very soon. Great story!

I hope Dean can get Nate to go willingly and perhaps it will make Dean feel better about himself. I just hope the hospital doesn't figure out they have no real insurance. The longer they stay, something can go wrong. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Poor Dean! When Sam said he would wear that contraption for 6 weeks, I could actually see his expression of horror. Sam really needs to make sure Dean understands that he would also give everything for him and that his life is not really like Nate's, even though their are some similarities. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Great update. Dean is not in great shape but at least he's out from the hospital. I'm with Sam, hope he'll find the time to talk with Dean about his conversation in the tunnel. Can't wait to read more.

Another wonderful chapter, yet so sad. So many lines in there I'd like to quote. Dean's statement as to why he wants to "return the favour" to Nate had me swallow hard. This is another great piece of writing of yours! Looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you!

Aw.... poor Dean! 6 weeks??? Uh, guess Sam's right. A family member just has one of these external fixation things screwed to her arm and she is in for the same time at least. But the tragedy lies in Dean's words "I only have a year..." and his desperation to "help" Nate. Moving on...

Yeah!Russell is alright and he saved Sam's life. Poor Dean, he won't hunt for awhile. Dean has a connection with Nat, can't wait to know what'll he do to help Nat to let go. I'm looking forward to more.
