Thanks for your kind words.  I said this at the end of the last chapter of my current story,  but i say it again.  I know there are writers,  quality writers,  reading my stories,  and you are one of them.  I wish i could reciprocate,  but i hesitate to read others' work while I'm writing...just gets me discouraged knowing how many talented people there are out there,  and the last thing i want to do is inadvertently absorb their ideas.

What a wonderful chapter!  I like Dean's idea about putting the headstone in the church cemetary.  I hope they put Nate's real name beneath Sin Eater.

Now that's karma--the little weasel got exactly what he deserved.  I hadn't thought of Dean eating the sins so Nate could move on to heaven.  That was a truly kind sentiment.

This chapter has had me on the edge of my seat!  Any moment I expected the group to be ambushed but hoped they'd make it to the farm so Nate can get a little revenge on the black sheep of his family.

Wow!  As if Dean hadn't suffered enough.  Knowing Sammy wouldn't trade his soul for Dean's life is probably like a kick in the jewels for big brother!  That only reinforces all his doubts concerning his self-worth.  But I think I know a few gals who could help him feel better about himself.  ;)

Love the response at the end when Bobby tries to soothe him.  Perfect Dean Winchester!

Wonderful ending to an amazing, poignant story. Great talk between Sam and Dean, they finally cleared up the air between them. Loved what Dean did to give Nate a final closure, very touching. i am always sad when your stories end.  they are so great i want them to keep going.

great job as always.

love them putting the headstone under the tree and writing Nate's name on it.

the argument was perfect; so how Dean an Sam would react to each other.

Mal, what a long and juicy chapter to finish this amazing story. I so loved it and I was very pleased with the ending. The confrontation between Sam and Dean was very believable and I wholeheartedly share Tree's thoughts.

Awesome end Mal... Great story ( of course) overall... Loved the resolution at the end- not to mention how much Dean 'aired' out during his little tirade. I think Dream A Little Dream of me gave us a brief glimpse of how he felt about his dad and Sam way down deep- but we've never really see him verbalize any of that out loud. In reality, despite his devotion to family- thoughts like that had to go through his mind... the unfairness and betrayal of it all...

Thanks for being brave enough to write them - a lot of folks might think it out of character- and un-protectSammy-like for Dean... but I dont...

Oh---how could he not feel that way--?   You probably know by now that I am not a John W. fan.  I don't know why I feel so strongly about him and the way the boys grew up---makes me angry just to think of it.   (yes--I know---it is all fiction,  get a grip)  But I cringe when there are segments shown where the brothers are children,  and the shabbiness and gross neglect they experienced.  --makes me nuts.

And there are plenty of tales out there that lionize John,  so my view will have minimal effect.  But I'm glad to hear that others echo my feelings regarding the brothers' upbringing.

'Unfairness and beytrayal'   That is exactly what I see.  The next episodes will be hard to watch,  I think.  Thanks for reading and commenting,  Tree.  I'm not sure when the need to put pen to paper will strike me again,  but I sure as hell will miss the reviews--ml

I loved this chapter so much. Nate is finally free and reunited with his momma, very poignant moment. Dean even took care of Nate's headstone, what a touching thought. Beautifully written Marquess, I can't wait for the conversation we're up to between Dean and Sam.
