Author's Response: You got that right, but even more so. I wanted Dean to become this dark, angry person since he didn't have Sam. I think it could be a very real possibility for him if he didn't have Sam.

Oh, absolutely fabulous! You have made me one very happy veggie - thank the easter bunny for me! Such a touching update, and great to see Bobby again - methinks we both have a bit of a soft spot for the crusty old demon hunter... Can't wait to see who the future guide and what he/she/it shows Sam - think it's going to be even messier than what he's just seen. And don't forget the mushy emo scene you promised me (laughs).

Ah! What an awesome gift. I am laying here with the flu and the Easter Bunny saw it fit for you to post yet another chapter. I tell you SNsam, that Easter Bunny is one stand up citizen. “No one’s trying to put the weight of the world on your shoulders, Sam. You do a good enough job of that on your own.” Loved that line. Loved the "vision" of Dean. Really enjoyed this chapter. Thanks for posting this today! :)

Thank you for the Easter present! I was sooo happy to see another chapter up. Poor Dean! I can hardly wait for the future showdown - although I'm pretty sure that without Sam it will go to .... "hell"? lol. I'm dying to know who will be the ghost of Christmas future - John maybe?

This is the BEST part of being an admin - getting to a new chapter first. Sorry I've been a slacker for leaving reviews for the previous chapters - I AM reading them - but - well I've been a tad busy ( figure you know why - LOL)
Anyway- absolutely loved this chapter. I think most of us agree that if something happened to Sam and John- this is one of the possible Deans we'd see, assuming the guy didn't eat a bullet the minute he lost Sam anyway.
Beautifully written, and I can't imagine what Sam's next guide is gonna show him.

This is such a great concept for a story - I'm loving it! Never apologize for a Dean-centric chapter... I don't think it gets any better than that lone tear. Can't wait for the next chapter - and I'm assuming we won't find our who the ghost of Christmas future is until the one after that? Yikes!
