Cool twist with Castiel being with Sam first. Great Job
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading!

This story is outstanding in its originality and structure. Sammy is such a complicated character that few fan writers can get inside his head to portray him accurately. Loved it.
Author's Response: That's such an amazing compliment, thank you! I do count myself as Bi-Winchester, but I'm a Dean Girl primarily, so it's fantastic to hear people say I got into Sam's headspace a little bit! Thanks for a great review!

oh man! too bad Sam didn't remember! how would that have changed his 4 months of sucking face with a demon. lol Simply amazing! ~A
Author's Response: I'm glad you picked up on Castiel's subtle references to not taking up with Ruby in this story! I actually think the Sam / Ruby thing works and I kinda like Genevieve now, but Sam really would have been better off if he'd known he'd only got to wait four months to get Dean back!

yes, Dean does have a lovely back (4.10):) Great chapter. Love the POV with Sam and Castiel.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Should Jensen ever make it to Asylum again, I plan to grope his back for a little longer than I did last time...! Although I'd be happy to grope Jared's too, should he ever make it across the Pond!

I'm so glad you decided to write a Sam story!! I love how you included Sam leaving Dean for Stanford, John's decision and time in Hell, Dean's decision, the war and even included Castiel. It all came together beautifully!! (Beautiful....like Dean's back!):)
Author's Response: Yes, Dean's back is very beautiful. (It's very solid too. Or it was at the Asylum Jensen attended!) I'm glad you liked the story! I would have liked to include something about Mary in there too, but I really haven't decided where she'd have gone after the events of Home since seeing ITB... I'm hoping God would give her a break seeing as she didn't know she was selling her son's soul in exchange for John's life...! Thanks for reading!

guess which epi you've been watching then...;) thatwas a fantastic story- ("I believe it is Buffalo" love it! hee hee)and it may be from sam's pov, but there's so much of dean running through it! th image of him punching the vending machine, sam not looking round is beautiful (though i kinda had to feel sorry for th vending machine!) the idea of dean having to go through what he did in hell, to pay so he can be redeemed is something i've been thinking about - its scary, but it'd be great to see in the show! and it was great to read it here first... ta! cal
Author's Response: Aww, thank 'ee, thank 'ee! Yeah, it occurred to me that maybe God had to leave Dean in Hell for a while - after all, he DID sell his soul to a demon and transgress the laws of nature by bringing Sam back. And without laws, where would we be? But I get the impression that's kind of one of Lucifer's bug bears - God is so forgiving to humans but not to angels...and I'm not going to add to that in case you've not seen up to 4.10!!

wow, great oneshot, even if it's about Sam, lol. A bus stop at Buffalo, like that. And Dean's back is indeed lovely! ;)
Author's Response: I kind of got the Buffalo idea from Big Pink's story Dazzleland - I can highly recommend it! (Plus my favourite band are from Buffalo!)

“Because I am an angel of the Lord,” the voice proclaimed. “I am Castiel. And I will save your brother, Sam Winchester. Remember that!” - Damn that was just killer. Loved the set-up and I could totally see this happening. Gotta love Castiel. - Kel ;)
Author's Response: I'd only seen Lazarus the night before I wrote this - and was again struck by how corny that "I'm an angel of the Lord" line COULD have been if not for Kripke's excellent writing and Misha's excellent delivery. Because that is totally how angels introduce themselves to humans in the Bible! Glad you enjoyed the story!

What's so bad about Sam fic? ;) I find this fic kind of fascinating since it deals with that time when Sam was dead--I so wish we got some acknowledgment of Sam's death and his opinions on it--even if he can't remember, the knowledge of it would have some impact on him, I think, but the show has never made it explicit. Sadly few fics deal with it either so I like that this one does--and I like that this one almost makes me feel optimistic about all three Winchesters, which is not an easy feat for me :)
Author's Response: It's irritated me since the end of season 2 that we never got to know what happened to Sam while he was dead - Dean never even asked him! So when Castiel came along... well I finally had a way to write that story! Glad you liked it! And there's nothing at all wrong with Sam fic (yours in particular!) I just didn't expect I'd be writing it!
