"Castiel smiled" and I smiled with him, loved this final chapter; GREAT STORY, once more an unbelievable intense and amazing ride!! Hope you will write a sequel, would love to see dad Dean, uncle Sam and Bobby train little John! So looking forward to new chapters of Season of the witch now!

Aahh Dean, he really tried to bargain with fate and it backfired in the most brutal way on him ("I'll remember the pain and then I'll remember her. This way, I can never forget."), your descriptions couldn't be more intense and painful! I'd say Dean learned his lesson, Castiel should give him back his real life with all memories of Grace and the seal of this love, his son (by the way, uncle Sam really did a good job with the baby, so no worries here, they will be fine!). Brilliant chapter!

Ouch! So Dean's learning his lesson the hard way, of the major "be careful what you wish for" variety. Bet he doesn't want to forget the pain of Grace's loss anymore, huh? I hope Castiel can bring Dean back to the crappy present a la "It's A Wonderful Life." And I hope Dean names the freakin' baby! MORE PLEASE!!!

As much as I want Castiel to take Dean's pain away (and I know he feels like he has nothing left to lose right now and never felt so alone), I don't want Dean to lose his memory of Grace and their love, cause that's what will last and stand the test of time and really makes Grace permanent!! Please!!!

Oh no, so Dean is losing his Grace now (so hoped for a little while longer!) and it is even more brutal because it is such a "normal" cause - and what a shock this very lovely Dean/Grace moment involved this sudden into such horror. Sam's decision however to give his brother the chance to stay with Grace until the last moment ("...but Dean, your face was the last thing I saw. I remember it, you holding me and I wasn't afraid anymore"; simply wonderful) and then not to make the deal for Dean cause he just couldn't take away Grace's faith in God and her salvation, was such and incredible special gift Sam made to both Dean and Grace (who I know couldn't have lived with Dean making the deal), stunning!!!; that's once more a scene I won't forget. If I could make a wish here, it would be that Grace will have a moment with Dean and the baby to say goodbye and find peace!

"To be with her 'til the day I die", can't even tell how it felt to see Dean and Grace reunited, it's more than bittersweet, catching the feelings so well, their deep love for each other but also the tragic of hurt souls, masterly written! About Season of the witch - I patiently wait and think you're doing a very good job with Sam here (meanwhile I love both brothers equally, maybe Dean always a bit more, but you're really doing fine with Sam) and I simply adored your little Sam in Daddy's gone a hunting! More of everything please!

Hey, still reading here if you maybe wondered, a bit overwhelmed I guess; it really breaks my heart to see Dean and Grace and to know how it will end, never expected it would feel like this. The last sentence in this chapter, "And Castiel touched Dean's cheek and he was overcome with a feeling of great sadness and loss and immediately he knew that he was feeling his Grace" (beautiful!) made me a weeping Wanda but I love the story and simply can't stop reading. Bring Dean at least back to Grace, please!
Author's Response: I was hoping I hadn't run you off. I'd miss you and I promise I'm working on Season of the Witch but it's so hard for me to write Sam. I adore him but not nearly as much as Dean and a loathsome witch is much harder than a character like Grace.

Awwww.... You're breakin' my heart, woman! Bring our Gracie and Dean back together right now! Now, I say! lol. It would so KILL Dean to have to leave his wife and unborn child, even if it was for their own protection. He's not much into the emo, but when he loves he loves with all his heart and soul, and he'd die for the ones he loves (as we've already seen). So I can only imagine what it would take for him to leave a woman he actually gave his heart to and MARRIED, particularly when that woman was carrying his unborn child. Reunite them, pretty please!?

GAH!!!! What?!!?! This chapter was angst-licious, but so painful at the same time! Dean's nightmare was horrifying -- and I so KNEW it was Grace he was about to dissect. And him being violent in his sleep is just horrible! Please kiss the boo boo soon and make it better! lol. I love Grace and Dean (even though I know Grace dies, as per the first chapter).

This story tugs all the heartstrings, at least for me, that the series itself is now doing... As wonderfully as you're weaving this tale, I find myself wanting to know what happens next here just about as much as I want to when this short little hiatus is ended! Exquisitely done!

There never was any doubt for me Dean wouldn't just exactly react the way he did, he truly is an amazing guy!! And Grace, it's a miracle she survived, horrifying what Azazel did to her. My favorite line was Grace's "I told him to cover his ears", so caring and lovely.

Oh, it's already at this point, I'm not prepared for the baby part yet, still try to brace up for the time Dean will lose Grace (not dealing very good with it so far)! As much as I enjoyed their "talk", and to watch Grace counter Dean's questions with such ease and fast wit was an absolute joy (terrific scene!!), it's very tough for me to read the story, thanks to your brilliant writing I have taken Grace to my heart; okay, deep breath, now we will hear how Azazel hurt her!
Author's Response: Hopefully, after she tells all, Dean will still be there to make it all better because we all know Demon sex is never pretty.
