Poor Dean stuck in the middle as always, i think John should tell Dean about the bills, better that then Dean thinking John can't be bothered to spend time with him and Sam wants a kick in the butt lol.

Oh god, OUCH! The poor kid, shackled to that bed with the traction cage, lonely and bored, and then ignored when Godzilla and Mothra go at each other (and going for the jugular, it looked like!).
They should both be ashamed of themselves! I get that Sam is only 12/13, but to be such a brat when his big brother needs him...? He doesn't realize that all the luxuries he has, all those little pieces of "normal" that he enjoys, are because Dean's there to make sure he gets them. That calls for gratitude, little man!

OUCH! I'm hurting for all the Winchesters here, but especially for Dean. That scene where John and Sam were yelling at each other and completely ignoring Dean was a hear breaker. I don't blame Dean in the least about asking both of them to leave. John needs to come clean about the money situation, I think Sam would understand then. I felt so badly for Dean. Here he was working his best and getting everything done, then whamo! He accidently pulls out his IV and everything goes to hell and back. His doctor doesn't believe it was an accident. He seems so vulnerable here. I hope John believes Dean when he tells him what really happens. Sam will hit the wall if he can't make the game because of this. I can't wait to read the next chapter, so hurry back.

I'm glad that John is realizing what treasures he has in his boys. Dean is literally raising Sam as their fathere is figuring out. Hopefully, John will be able to keep his job, they really need the money. It was very sad to see Dean withhold medicine from himself because of guilt. I just loved that Dean and Sam were helping the couple next door. How sweet. I can't wait to read the next chapter. I'm sure there is a lot more for John to figure out what Dean does for the family.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I must admit it does bother me some that John was spending Dean's money. I'm sure Dean wouldn't mind, but it is his money. Perhaps John should think about getting a real job while Dean is laid up! Looking forward to chapter 5!
