Good job! I hoped someone would write more to that. Dean was way too calm. Glad you supplied our demand!
Author's Response: I did it for selfish reasons but . . . meh. Happy to help! :D Thanks for the awesome review! :D -M

Holy crap - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Bravo, friend, amazing I agree with Kel that's exactly how I thought Dean would react to Sammy's little fling with the now Very OOC Ruby. When Dean simply said "Sam, too much information." i was floored and a tad angry. I was awaiting the fight of the century and instead all I got was one simple sentence pffttt. Luckily I stumbled across this amazing piece. Honestly it's as if the boys we're speaking - you got the dialogue down straight away. The flow of the story was perfect and even had some good moments of humour, which I also love to see even in a one shot. Can't get over how great this was, I wish I could explain to you how much I enjoyed reading this, it's given me such satisfaction after the bad after taste left in my mouth from the ACTUAL revelation of Sam and Ruby! Well I've droned on enough, amazing simply amazing 10/10 -Bex
Author's Response: I was of a mind to write this episode off as the worst of the season. Which made me both sad and mad because it FINALLY showed us how Sam dealt with Dean being gone after his first freak out in LR. I thought they weren't going to give us anything and then they DID and then they ****** it up with that Ruby crap. And even WORSE they ****** up Dean's response to this little tidbit of Sammy's adventures during the FMIH! But a discussion on the Supernatural threads over at the Psychfic forum (yeah, don't ask) birthed this plot bunny and I am not only at peace with the episode after writing this but I *like* it now! Like one of my fellow SPNners over there said, "As far as I'm, concerned this is now canon." Now the 'TMI' doesn't bother me at all! :D As far as I'm concerned, Dean was so shell-shocked by what he was hearing that his brain just shut down and all that came out was a lame attempt at humor. But after processing it, this scene was the result. For me and him. :D
I'm *really* glad you liked the humor. I was a bit wary of putting it in because of the overall emotional setting of the scene. I didn't want it to come off as badly as Dean's attempt at a joke with the 'TMI' line. But my Beta convinced me otherwise (and, actually, threatened to take away my Christmas present LOL) if I did take it out. Now, if Sam *continues* to pursue this *shudder* thing with Ruby, it may undo all of my hard work and I may be unhappy again. But I'm really hoping it won't come to that. *firmly puts thoughts of the bra from LR out of her head* IT NEVER HAPPENED IN MY UNIVERSE. Thank you so much for the FREAKING AWESOME review! :D -M

LOL, well I have to say again, I'd rather your version to Kripke's....hell actually I wish I could burn my eyes out after watching Sammy's little secret. THanks for the read - Kel ;)
Author's Response: ROFL I'm not so against interesting plot twists as to say I'm TOTALLY against what they did, but I would have much preferred to not WATCH IT. FOR LIKE, FIVE MINUTES. My problem lay more in Dean's reaction--and Sam's, truth be told. As I said, I just didn't feel that what we saw was the whole story. Supportive or not, Dean should not have been blase about Sam sleeping with a DEMON. Even if it WAS Ruby. Actually, especially since it was Ruby. Despite her not trying to kill them, I would think Dean would trust her even less than other demons. As he said in The Benders: "With our usual . . . playmates . . . there are rules, patterns. People are just nuts." Ruby acts more like a person than a Demon. She doesn't follow the 'Rules' as it were, and that, I would think, would cause Dean a lot more stress because she does have the capabilities of a demon. She just also has the motivations and inclinations of a human and that, in my book, makes her much more dangerous than Lilith. Thanks for the awesome review! :D -M

This is what should have happened! Not just a TMI! I agree with you, if it was up to me Sam would have never done that... it was just wrong... I loved this, by the way. Dean's revulsion and hatred towards everything that has to do with demons was just so Dean... and the moment where Sam says he just can't make it on his own was heart-wrenching. Just loved the whole thing.
Author's Response: I could see it happening lots of ways, but, yeah, the 'Meh *insert flat joke here*' approach just didn't work for me. Supportive or not, Dean needed to be mad. He *should* have been mad. And Sam should have questioned him when he wasn't. As to the scene itself . . . Well, I'm not a fan of sex scenes. But if they still wanted to include this story arc WITHOUT THE GRAPHIC ALMOST PR0N, I'd be okay with it. AS LONG AS THEY WERE JUDICIOUS IN THEY USAGE OF CHARACTERIZATION. I.E., DEAN GOT MAD Happily, with this now inserted into my own version of canon, I can love the episode. :D Thanks for the AWESOME review! :D -M
