Nicely done! loved this line:
John and Bobby were nothing alike.
Dean was wrong.
Sam knew, beyond a doubt; John would never have asked Dean to call.

For once, after reading this I find myself more satisfied w/your alternate ending than the one from "Yellow Fever". Reading this was truly a pleasure all the way through.
Your alternate ending is perfect & fills in all the gaps left by the actual ending.

This here is getting better and better, wonderful idea to have the limp-Sam-scenes for each episode, there are so many open questions and you're filling in the blanks just perfectly; amazing brother moments, love it, thank you so much!

This was MUCH more satisfying than the ending of "Yellow Fever."
Nice closure, nice development of character emotions. Sam felt like Sam (whereas in the episode both he and Bobby seemed a little too gleeful at Dean's expense).
This actually made me feel better. :)
