This story is just awesome! I have been reading it, completely engrossed! The flashbacks to the hunt are so well done, and so are the 2005 scenes with Sam and Dean. This is really engaging and has the characters down, especially Dean. I LOVE how you've portrayed Dean's stuck-in-the-middle plight, as well as John's gruff, stubbornness. Can't wait for more!

Another great chapter (and I was intrigued by the switch from past to Season 1 present) I like the way season1 Sam is starting to understand what he has in a big brother like Dean and then the glimpses of young, immature Sam and the heartbreak he unknowingly inflicts on his brother. Your Dean voice is just spot on!

I read this over on fanfiction and loved it. I've become a fan of your stories ever since. Dean just gets me every time- the little hints of his John punishments and the rambling but very Dean descriptions of his feelings about caves, the wonderful cheering image of the chupacabra's firey demise... all brilliant. Thanks
