Very beautiful! My favorite part is the last stanza.
Look back in your dreams, everything you ever had,
everything you ever lost.
Grieve in silence.

YOU ROCK! Cal, that was poetry like I'd love to do it.... hunny, you're a natural. So in awe....
Wonderful formatting, too... Like he is in between things, in a place where he allows himself to think and feel, kinda like limbo, between action and rest... like a moment in time, like the blink of an eye, a green, long lashed, very soulful eye...
*takes a breath to steady herself*
Jeez, girl, you gotta do more poetry.
hugs ya, Ilka

Hey My Poet Laureat friend.
Like it very much and as I admitted I am partial to a bit of poetry (don't tell anyone tho!)
I like the flow and cadence and the sad but not too desolate nature of the piece.
thanks! glad you like it, and thanks for the prodding... (it's that finger again!)
(sorry - that probably sounds far more rude than it was meant to!)
