I liked how you compared the Battle of Carthage to the Winchesters' battle.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I'm betting that the setting of the story was deliberate, it is simply too convenient that the Civil War started there and this is where the brothers first really came up against each other.  Later, B.J.

This is going to be such a great season for exploring the darker nature of our two favourite characters. Nicely done.

Author's Response:

Thanks!  Yes, it is.  Sam is finally expressing himself and I do think there is still more depth to that boy.

I do love the grey areas, and Supernatural excells at allowing its characters to be complex, multi-faceted men.

Take care, B.J.

A very interesting inalegy on that purpose. It was very outstanding.

Author's Response: Thanks, Sam!  I think our younger Winchester is very complicated and has a lot of issues simmering beneath the surface.  It was nice to see a few of those explode out.  I think Dean was even surprised with some of Sam's comments.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.  Take care, B.J.

Wonderful as always.  Great insight into Sam's thoughts.

Author's Response: Thanks, Crystal, good to hear you think I got inside Sam's head.  I'm not as comfortable and sure there, but hopefully it worked.  Later, B.J.

I love it! This was everything I thought was going through Sam's head. You did an amazing job! Great job!

~Kayla

Author's Response: Thanks, Kayla!  I really thought I understood Sam and his motivations from that episode.  Cathryn did an excellant job of uncovering Sam's thoughts.  Glad my story could add to that.  Later, B.J.

Wow, you've put Sam's feelings into very powerful words. Poor Sam, thinking he's doing the right thing, only to find out he's going against both Dean's and God's wishes.  Awesome job! Sue

Author's Response: Hey, Sue!  Thanks so much!  Yes, poor Sam, he does have the best intentions, but as Dean is so apt to point out the road to ruin is paved with good intentions.  Can't wait to see where all this leads.  Later, B.J.

Wow, that was outstanding,beautifuly written.

Both Dean and Sam are in a dark place at the moment, you portrayed Sam's feelings perfectly, what ever happens they are never going to stop loving each other.

Well done.

Author's Response:

Thanks!  Yes, Kripke and his writers are going to take us all to very dark places before Dean and Sam reunite as the close brothers we've always known.

I love how Cathyn Humphris finally let us inside Sam's mind and how confused and hurt he is by his role in this endgame of YED.

So glad you think I added to that.  Later, B.J.

Can't possibly thank you enough for writing this, giving me some much needed answers to this very special episode; you did an amazing job with Sam's POV, showing his fear and despair and how much both brothers are hurt and struggle. But - I totally agree here with you, this won't change their deep love for each other and they will come through this at the end, together. Again, thank you, fantastic work!

Author's Response:

What a totally lovely review.  Thank you!  I know things might be tough for our brothers for awhile, but I also know how close their bond is.  There is no way anything can permanently separate them or turn them against each other.

I especially appreciate hearing you think I got into Sam's head.  I'm not as comfortable there, but little bro is talking more and more to me.  Take care, B.J.
