What can I say, marvellous final chapter!!! Thank you so much for writing the guys in such a breathtaking way and a special thank you for Angel's appearance! I just loved this story, you did such a fantastic job with the different POV's - it takes quite an amount of literary skills to capture so many different characters and still form a whole and you did grand; superbly told, compelling and memorable in the very best sense!!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. It wouldn't be as much fun without you.

This had so everything I hoped for - PERFECT!!!

Author's Response: Again, I am so humbled. I just posted the epilogue for this and now I'm off to finish your story, Season of the Witch, as promised. I hope I do it justice.

Wonderful Angel, she's as great as ever (and still has the gift of the gab, love her); as always her interaction with Dean is amazing and the brothers, couldn't ask for more and just have to quote this special line here - "my seeing eye dog to Sammy's blind dude, he says and I can see into his heart and I know he will unselfishly and gladly spend the rest of his life being his brother's keeper but what I meant is the symmetry of an angel with the blood of the fallen to a demon with a pure heart", that's magic!

Some tragic revelations here (the Judas goat and Dean coughing black smoke, horrifying!), but then and how wonderful is this, Angel came and she watches over Dean, it is Angel, right? Loved it!

Author's Response:

So glad you're liking this.

I did the Supernatural math and came up with Azazel = angel, Azazel's blood = heavenly not demonic, Dean in the pit = demon. Hopefully I can write my way out of this.  Maybe Angel, yes it's her, can help.

Amazing Sam, couldn't possibly show in a greater way his love for his brother, the ultimate sacrifice, placing this bond above everything else and it's breathtaking how you write it. Sam's goodbye at the end left me aching for these two, again awesome writing!

Again, love Bobby for being Bobby and fighting with all his might for his boys ("it's a small price to pay to keep the bastards away from Dean so he can at least die in peace"!), but Castiel, the way he refrains from this fight and then looking at Dean with "revulsion" and making him beg for Sam's life, an angel without mercy, can't forgive him for this!

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 07/11/08 09:30 AM · On: Chapter 17

How did you do this? This fight, the images are unbelievable, a totally heated atmosphere, feels like to be in the middle of this demonic blood frenzy and I swear I'm gonna have nightmares from Dean's screams and Sam's (desperate and completely lovely) sacrifice and stand up for his brother, awesome writing, please don't stop!!!!

Castiel's motives are still not totally evident to me, but I'm so glad he brought Sam to this church and now truly "pandemonium reigns", great one!

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 06/11/08 06:43 AM · On: Chapter 15

Marvellous, this fight is even worse than I thought, unbelievable images in this curch, feels like they already fight at hell's gate - and then Dean, one of a kind, once more giving proof of his unwavering love for his brother, always trying to protect (and never counting on any force to help him), amazing man!; yet the one thing I wish for is that (this time) Sam will come and they are together.

Stunning, I'm a bit out of words here - Dean's walk through the demon conquered church and his confrontation with Lilith (a dark queen in a very scary way), grand setting and a very evil cliffhanger, if Dean loses the nail, it's over!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I'm not a fan of Lilith as a little girl so I picked someone I thought Dean would like.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 05/11/08 04:26 AM · On: Chapter 13

Thank God for Bobby, always a tower of strength, just feels better when he's around; don't like Dean's plan a bit though, he won't stand a chance against Lilith on his own and with the child's death on his mind he might not be careful enough, pure thrill, fantastic!

Author's Response: Bobby's my rock!

What a painfully sad insight of Sam's despair, his personal hell you gave us on their drive to combat; still hope there is a way out, even if Ruby has to be a part of it, as Dean stated "who knows what kind of hoodoo she can do and maybe witches really can fly". Anxious to find out.

Author's Response: I hope Sam came across as someone who wants to lay his burden down and not just someone who wants to kill himself because he's not pretty anymore.

This here is getting so intense, don't think I could deal with longer chapters. Castiel was fascinating, but the essence here was for me how these amazing brothers stand up for each other, whatever the cost!

Author's Response: Death couldn't come between the brothers so I'm thinking an angel's got no chance. I love getting to write my version of an angel's thoughts.I never knew how my Catholic upbringing would come in so handy.

Loved the thought that Sam in spite of everything still cares about his soul and worries about his brother so much, great scenes. Awesome ending "I hear the rustling of wings", showtime I guess.

Author's Response: I absolutely loved the introduction of the angels to the world of Supernatural.  So much to work with now besides demons.

As I feared, Castiel actually sent Dean to kill Sam, great chapter!

Author's Response: I'm afraid my angels don't play fair...and they might stretch the truth.

Scary stuff, what's going to happen to Sam?  looking forward to the next update and continuing this story, Thanks.

Author's Response: As always, thanks for the reviews.

Ruby's POV was grand; agonizing wait and preparations for the big fight and now all the cards are on the table (Sam's dirty little secret!), wow!

Author's Response:

One secret down, a few more to go.

Thanks ladies, Your reviews keep me going.

Great chapter, but I'm still kinda in the dark about how all this came about in the first place, It's like I've come into the story having missed a couple of chapters.  When did Dean leave him? How did he kill an angel? why can Dean summon hell-hounds and be working for castiel? update soon.

Author's Response: This is the sequel to my other fic  'Sometimes They Forget". Hopefully if you read it, everything will fall into place..at least it does in my head.

Loved every line of this, Dean crying over Sam and Sam worrying about it, that really showed how essential and deep their bond is, wonderful chapter! But now on top of everything else they have to deal with Lilith ("el angel"? well, maybe there really isn't this much of a difference), this will be a horrid fight and I can't wait to read about it - still I hope Dean and Sam will make it somehow (against all odds), but at least together, nothing else matters!

Author's Response: Lilith is without a doubt, a Devil Dog.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 18/10/08 09:50 AM · On: Chapter 6

Another fantastic chapter, funny (so enjoyed the suffering from hellhound remorse, great one) and extremely sad; what a special scene (one more to remember) when Dean bathed Sam and told him about his childhood days, trying to save Sam, even knowing it is a desperate and nearly hopeless task, "...and I wonder, as they roll down my cheeks, if he can hear my tears as they drop into the water?", grand! As much I fear their confrontation with Castiel and the consequences, I will follow you with it, to read this story is a real treat!

Author's Response: Thanks again and even though he's an angel, Castiel is no Twinkie.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 13/10/08 11:37 PM · On: Chapter 5

Awesome writing - just love you for Dean's answer to Sam's plea to kill him ("No way, Sammy, he says and I think I can hear rumbling in the heavens and wonder if a lightning bolt's not far behind", wonderful) and also for the special promise Dean made at the end. Actually I'd like to quote nearly every line here, it's breathtaking good!

Author's Response:

Wow, again you make me blush. Thanks so much.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 12/10/08 11:45 PM · On: Chapter 4

Truly a tragic reunion, oppressive images; makes me sick to see what they did to Sam and how Castiel was involved; really not sure anymore which side in this war is the crueler one. At least Dean (great description as always, this is so Dean - but one question: what about "Angel's love bite", just a reminiscence?) is there now, he won't give up Sam without fighting!

Author's Response: Dean's brand is a painful early warning system.

Reviewer: Maureen Nesbitt (Signed) · Date: 12/10/08 01:14 PM · On: Chapter 3

Why did you do that to Sam?  Have his eyes burned out of his head,  looking forward to the next chapter, Is it the one where Dean arrives? can't wait.

Author's Response: Sam killed someone he shouldn't have and though all is not right with Sam's world, Dean is on his way.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 11/10/08 09:46 AM · On: Chapter 3

Can't believe what happened to Sam, how could things get this desperate, never saw him so broken and you had some lines here which are just killing me "And I'm so tired, not just physically and mentally but spiritually, too"/"I'd like to see Dean one more time before I go...what I mean is that I'd like to be with him one more time, to hug him, but I'm afraid" - feels like all lights have fused for Sam. Dean has to hurry, don't think there's much time left. Still, there is a little part of the old Sam (a very lovely one), when he mentioned he always liked kids, even knowing how cruel they can be. Grand chapter!!!

Author's Response:

It's thrilling to see the lines you're quoting.  Writing Sam is a little easier than Dean because I think he's more sensitive but after this and what he's done, he's really got nothing left to to loose.
