thanks for the chapter! I understand why Dean did what he did. I know he really loves his family, but, on the other hand, he knew what was better for his daughter and he just did it, even if that meant a lot of suffering for him. Well, until the next chapter :)

Dean and Sam killed Marion, after what she did, she deserved to die. Awww...Dean opening the casket and looking at Jane and finding that she was wearing his mom's necklace was so a touching and sad moment. I'm looking forward to more.

I'm not sure what to say about this chapter, its left me feeling quiet and alittle sad. Sad for Dean and his loss, sad that finding his mom's necklace on Jane made him realise his Dad must have loved and been proud of his granddaughter to give it to her. Certainly sounds as if Audrey or Jane had a hand in jamming his gun when he needed it. Makes me remember the line in one of the shows "my gun doesn't jam." I'm sorry that Sam feels annoyed that Dean and his Dad kept Jane a secret but I hope that in the final explanations he will find forgiveness and understanding of his families actions.

Rather a dark chapter for Dean, I agree.
Up to the reader whether or not the gun jam was a little devine help, and that line from BDABR was in my head as I typed so we are on the same lines.
Sam will understand by the end..I hope!

I can't believe I missed this chapter. How did you sneak it past my addictive checking of the updates page? And what an amazing chapter to miss. Dean back in trouble, scarcely two minutes after being fixed and in trouble in the past too, though John is being more reasonable than usual. Amazing. Off to read chapter 20 now.
