Really enjoying this :)

Hope you update soon. I LOVE how you whump the hell out off Dean!

Author's Response:

Yeah,  poor guy does get more than his fair share,  doesn't he---lol!

Great update. Sam knows how to talk to sweet old ladies. The guy from Quebec took something  and then all hell broke loose, that make sense, can't wait to know what it is. Hope that Sam'll keep his promise and not go in that house alone. Terrific story so far, can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thanks,  Oceane.  Glad you're enjoying this.---ml

I'm loving this! I love Edith... I think I might be related... Great chapter. I'm thinking the title might be a hint here... I'm dying to see who gets stupid first: will Sam go to the house alone? Will Dean insist on leaving the hospital too soon? OR both! Can't wait for the next chappie! Without even seeing it, I'm betting your house in Annapolis is just beautiful ~ as was the final "scene" of Sam looking out over the water... *sigh* ~ can totally picture that!

Author's Response:

Ha!  You'd lose that bet!  It's a falling-down ruin,  but it has potential,  capital"P"   And so far,  no hauntings.....

And yeah,  Aunt Edith is the granny I never had...ml

Thank goodness Dean is going to be alright. Can't wait to know what happened recently to Hannah to be so violent. Captivating story so far, I can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thanks, Oceane.

OMG!! As always this is awesome -- but even better? My Aunt and Uncle lived in Kentville and I spent a month there one summer when I was growing up!! I also did graduate work at Dalhousie in Halifax, so I'm very familiar with the whole Annapolis Valley --- TOO COOL!!!!

Author's Response: That's freaky.  We bought a 200 year old house near Annapolis a year ago.  Trying to get there to work on restoration,  but 17 hours in the car each way---ugh.  Thanks---ml

'Poor bugger.' love it! lovely change of pace in this chapter - and Dean in hospital is always something you write beautifully!

Author's Response: Thanks,  CalUK.  (blushing)

What a cliffhanger right away! You always seem to love to whump our Dean. Looks like another great story of yours and I look forward to the next update!

Author's Response: yes...yes,  I am a DeanWhump fiend.  They really should send a hunter out after me....can I pick which one?  :)

"A sign –The Rose Cottage—identified it. If the roses were a defining characteristic of the place, then it was in dire straits. They were all decidedly dead."

I really, really love the way you write -- Please don't stop!!

Author's Response: That really means a lot to me,  Thanks.  I do like to write,  I will miss it if I can't find any more water in this well....ml

AH- ok- you're forgiven now -- had me worried with that post on the main news page- but I can see that you've been anything but "avoiding work" LOL.

Great start- gotta love the way you hurt Dean!

Author's Response: To have positive reinforcement from the driving force behind the site is very significant for me,  thanks Tree.

wow - straight into the action with this one! fantastic! and loved 'oh enlightened one' - so true...

beautiful line: 'His eyes were dark with fear.' powerful and so vivid - can't wait to see what you come up with next, cause in your orld, even a punctured lung isn't torture enough! ;)

Author's Response: Thanks,  calUK.  I love having a line quoted,  I need to remember that when I slip into my "I suck" mode.  Hell,  you'd think at my age I'd be a bit more solid,  but no matter our age,  it seems we are always who we are,  regardless....ml
