Wow.  What a GREAT story.  It had all the right bits of excitement, spooky bits, quirky characters and a nice touching ending.  Thank you for a good read!

Author's Response: Thanks for saying so.  It was a pleasure to write,  for personal reasons,  glad to see that it was an enjoyable read for others as well---ml

Hey Mal-

sorry I didnt review along the way- but as with all your stories- this one kept me waiting for the next alert that you'd posted.

Loved the twists and turns- had to say you had me panicked when possessedSam threw that match down on Dean in the hole... and really loved how mother and daughter just wanted to be together in the afterlife...

Dwight was awesome-- great OC that was willing to help out the guys. And I loved Dean just having to go off on his own to process everything that happened.

Kinda hoping ( hint hint) that maybe at some point Edith dies and the boys return to the Rose Cottage- There has to be some more mystery about the place considering its history... ( shameless plea for a sequel here!!)

Again- i loved it.. thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Thanks,  Tree,  ---means alot to me.  And since the Stone lamb locale has significance for me as well,  I think the final installment in this series will most likely feature that setting....whenever it finally forms in my fractured mind!----ml

aw, lovely! beautiful ending - you've populated an entire landmass with friends to the boys in the course of this series, finishing it on a real high note - love that last line! (so very Dean...) and I can't wait to read some more, whenever the muse decides to come out and play again...

Thanks

cal

Author's Response: Thanks for the boost,  cal.   I'm a sucker for happy endings,  I need the Winchester brothers to have allies and champions---ml

Mal,

what an excellent story!!!!!!!

Edith is a firecracker i love her.  leaving the cottage to Dean an Sam nice touch.

i liked how you had Hannah and Emeline finding each other in the end going away peacefully.  Man to see that would give you a lot a faith.

again great story.  hope you have another one up soon.

Renee

Author's Response: Thanks Renee.  Yeah,  I'll miss Edith.    And I was glad too that mother and daughter were reunited.---ml

I look forward to more!

Author's Response:

Thanks for saying so, Renate.  There's perhaps one story more in this thread,   if it ever fleshes out in my mind.  --ml

Very good story.

Thank you.

Author's Response: Thanks for saying so,  mtee.  Everyone should have a little,  dried up,  smiley gramma.---ml

I hope by crushing the bottle it's going to put Emeline at peace, she and her mother deserved it. Can't wait for your next update Marquessa.

Author's Response:

Thanks,  Oceane

They finally got the hunt and they nearly been caught and now Sam is the next victim of the stone lamb curse and with Dean not in great shape, it's not good, not good at all. Can't wait for more.

Oops! What now? poor guys! dogs and lambs and ghosties... love it!

Author's Response: Thanks for saying so.

No!Burning and salting Emeline's bones didn't nothing, now it's Dwight's turn to hear the little girl screaming. Dean and Sam're right the stone lamb is linked to Emeline, I hope they'll find it before it's too late for Dwight. I'm looking forward to your next update Marquessa.

I just knew that damn stone lamb was going to be important! I just love the way you weave your narratives -- how you can add a twist and keep us going without it feeling contrived... Your twists are always like little refreshers!!! I'm always so sad when it looks like the story might be winding down! I can't think that this trip is going to be easy on or good for Dean.... You know he's not up to at least sub-parr if he isn't at least trying to drive!

Author's Response: Thanks for all your comments,  Lisa.

I'm a Dean girl all the way!!

Great chapter, looking forward to more.

Awww...Poor Dean, he's still not in enough shape to help Sam with Emeline at least Dwight is there to give an hand. What's going to happen next, can't wait to know.

Reviewer: calUK (Signed) · Date: 29/10/08 05:22 PM · On: Chapter 12

hmmm... why do i think that getting the remains back and dealt with really wont fix it all?! can't wait to find out!

Author's Response: You obviously have psychic tendencies...lol

Reviewer: lam (Signed) · Date: 29/10/08 02:20 PM · On: Chapter 12

Thank you for the lovely, juicy long chapter... I swear, with every chapter, you just convince me more that I must be related to Edith! That whole cooking for an army thing? My mother's whole family does that! Great reunion between the boys and yeah Dwight to the rescue!!!! I just know that that damn lamb is still going to be important somehow... And I agree with Dean - there is no such thing as an easy salt 'n burn....

Author's Response: Thanks for saying so.   I wish I knew Edith in person,  my own Grannies were Dutch,  and they visited on occasion from Holland,  but there was always a language barrier.  and to a little kid---they were just intimidating and odd.  I think you must be very lucky.  And Dwight sort of developed into the shining  defender that I always wished the brothers had,  after all they'd done for strangers.  (sigh...)  I know there's a wrap-up story for this series somewhere in my mind---the segments float around and vex me at midnight---but they refuse to gel.  I think they will eventually link together into something cohesive and satisfying,  but until then......

Gripping chapter and what a cliffhanger, can't wait to know what'll happen next.

Author's Response: I'm beginning to realize that I do tend to cliff-hang...hope that doesn't grow to be tiresome....

Another great chapter as always. :)And Sam's back YAY now he can be the worried caring brother, and poor Dean! sick and hurt (just how i like him) *I know I'm a sadistic bitch* LOL

Author's Response: So--are you a Dean or a Sam fiend..?  I tried,  but I am incapable of writing Sam effectively.  I dunno---he just doesn't resonate with me the way that Dean does.  Maybe it's an age thing.....

Reviewer: mtee (Signed) · Date: 27/10/08 11:19 AM · On: Chapter 11

Great chapter.

I have watched that youtube video -- 5 times already.  Love watching it! It doesn't grow old!

Thanks so much for the updates.

Author's Response: I watched that segment a few times,   it was really cute.   It's the self conscious smile at the end that kills me....

Reviewer: lam (Signed) · Date: 27/10/08 05:05 AM · On: Chapter 11

Another great chapter. I loved Dwight punching Sam under Dean's careful tutelage! Why do I get the feeling that these three are going to be sharing a hospital room or at least some serious mother henning from Edith... And I know that Dean is going to insist on going to retrieve that lamb himself now.... As always, I'm a total sucker for hurt!Dean to the rescue....

Reviewer: calUK (Signed) · Date: 27/10/08 02:48 AM · On: Chapter 11

And yet another cliffie to tease us with... you're evil, girl! can't wait for more - guilt and angst and hurt galore!
