The witch is dead! A righteous ending for Sabine, "...no resting place may she take, not in the sun, the moon, the twelve signs, the clouds, the air, the sea, the man nor woman nor beast nor earth nor that from it", she truly is damned. Really admire you pointed out Sam needed to break with Sabine by himself and it's a painful process but also that Dean's love and trust were strong enough to let Sam do this (and totally loved the Jewels reminiscence at the end, still miss her). Sam's and Dean's bond endured and will be even stronger now. Thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to end, another fantastic one. Thank you!!!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much. You're the best. Sam knew what most people didn't. The only way to destroy a witch is to burn her and that blood is thicker than witchcraft. I'm so glad you liked Season of the Witch because it was for you.

This wonderful line, "...but his love and his loyalty always came back to you" is the heart of it all, you couldn't express it in a more perfect way, what an amazing chapter!

Author's Response: "Amazing chapter"  I blush. Thank you again.

As desperate it looks now for Dean, I still have a little bit hope left he will survive this, but even if not, Sabine already has lost cause for Dean his little brother's life is always worth dying for and Sam knows the truth now, he will only come back to Dean but never to Sabine. Really loved the chapter, it was dark and scary but the murder is out and that's worth a lot!!!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for staying with me on this.  Only one more chapter to go.

Oh wow woman, you gave me something to think about - I'm quite certain the papers tell that Dean speaks the truth but I'm worried Sam doesn't seem so happy about it, it just can't be too late for them, you wouldn't do that, right? Anyway, great chapter!!!

OMG, just as Sam finally is beginning to break Sabine's spell, his and Dean's bond proves to be stronger than her and Sam longs for his brother ("...the loss of his child had brought home to him just how important family, or what was left of his, was to him."), Sabine launches into her final blow (but she's getting a bit desperate if I'm not mistaken) - killing Dean!! What makes this worse and downright scary is that Dean "cannot be killed by my hand nor yours," Bileth said thoughtfully, "but he can be rendered to the flames of hell...by his own." This would be Sam, oh no! Some great and gripping chapter!

Oh my! -- This Sabine chick is totally creeping me out ;) -- Now she's carrying Sam's daughter?! -- So, the plot thickens.... (Good story so far!)

Author's Response: She's not really one of my favorites but she is a witch.  Thanks for the review and I hope you don't think I'm too much of a douche bag when you read what I've done next.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 12/07/09 08:21 AM · On: Chapter 11

Ohh, please tell me Sabine hasn't already won!! It seems she has Sam exactly where she wanted him and now she's expecting, it just feels all kinds of wrong these two, Sam with his gentle soul and Sabine as the complete opposite have a child together. An oppressive scene when she told Sam about her father and Sam - totally unaware of her real thoughts - compared his dad with him (I wished he could see what she really is like). What Sabine did to her father was horrible (and she was ten!!!! then) and in her case the saying is true that hate isn't the opposite of love but it's cruel extension - no way I ever want this for Sam!! Dean has his ring back, let him do something before it really is too late, PLEASE!?! Amazing images here, mind blowing!!!!

Author's Response: Thanks girl!  It's been hard to write such a bitch but I'm having me some fun now. Dean will do something alright but it's probably not what anyone thinks.

Now - that last paragraph just creeped me out to the maximum - and I just know you'll hang onto such a delicious level of suspense until your next chapter...!

Author's Response: Thanks CatzEye. I hope I can keep you guessing until the very end.

Hi! - I can't believe I'd missed this story up till now -- Sabine is about as mysterious and scary as one would wish, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this!

Oh- and those last couple sentences give me chills--!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. Glad you're along for the ride.

The appearance of John and Mary after their summoning was such a special, moving scene, a great description of their undying love for each other and their sons and their tragic choices! But I think and hope John's answer, that "Sam loves Dean, would do anything for his brother" (as Dean would for Sam) will in the end prove to be stronger than Sabine's magic to tie Sam to her, cause this is the one thing she can't understand and beat - true affection. Still, time is running out for Sam and Dean, the ruthless sacrifice of the young guy showing again Sabine's absolute determination (that could be admirable if it wasn't this scary). Great!

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 29/06/09 09:44 AM · On: Chapter 9

Sabine sure goes the whole nine yards to get what she wants, as scary as it is, it also is highly fascinating and her summoning of Agares, "Grand Duke and ruler of the easter zone of hell" was high art of witchcraft, great description! So the object she needed was Dean's ring, makes a lot of sense and actually I was hoping she wouldn't succeed, Dean's "parking your car?" comment (hilarious and also very Dean) about the broom came so near to the truth, but again she is good and as it seems close to what she wants! My ray of hope here is the last sentence, the ring burns her as Dean's kiss (again so Dean) does, so this spell could reverse itself!?? The hurting Sam part though doesn't sound good, scary prospect, so please don't let me wait too long for the update!!!

This is getting better and better! Conjuring the Lost Souls was an amazing sight, breathtaking how far she's willing to go to make Sam hers; Mael Coluim mac Donnchadha was a great character and I loved his comment "so you canna use other then your feminine wiles on him, a lost cause for one such as yourself, bereft of any and all but the illusion of that which would make you pleasing to a man", grand! Terrifying prospect she wants to call John's and Mary's ghosts and needs something from Dean for it, wished Sam would wake up, know this is not very likely to happen, but I'm afraid Dean can't fight her alone!

Author's Response: Only a few more conjurings and she's got him right where she wants him.  But is it Sam or Dean?

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 29/05/09 02:43 PM · On: Chapter 7

Sam is already so much under Sabine's spell, it's alarming! You've got to hand it to her, she's good, she even distracted Dean, who now is too worried about Bobby to really be on the alert and that very easily could cost them everything. Wow, it's the atmosphere here I love so much right from the beginning, just want to step in, make Dean see the danger and on the other side I also find it fascinating to watch Sabine's moves (always like your strong ladies, even the bad ones!); edlessly enjoy to read this story!!

Author's Response: Thank you for hanging in there and continuing to read.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 28/05/09 11:11 PM · On: Chapter 7

Oh wonderful, you updated, all excited here - I will come back about this after work tonight, so looking forward to read it!!!

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 24/11/08 11:39 PM · On: Chapter 6

Hmm, this fight now certainly started, the extent of Sabine's power frightening impressive (the spell was great, creepy!), attacking Bobby definitely a cunning turn, hopefully Dean (it has to be him!) will suspect something, this sure will be interesting to read, thrilling times!!

Author's Response: Sabine's very old but still childlike in her wants and desires.  She has many allies, both willing and unwilling, but, as Bobby now knows, not many enemies.

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 24/11/08 10:26 PM · On: Chapter 6

Uh-oh!  She had better not hurt Bobby!!!

Author's Response: She's a witch with a plan!

As long as you keep it coming steadily, I'm ok with them being short (I suppose).

I just like your stories so much, especially the ones with Jewels in them!  (Well, technically there was only one with her in it, but the one with the succubus was related to it, so you know what I mean).

Author's Response: Thank you. I'll do my best.

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 23/11/08 06:38 PM · On: Chapter 5

Well this is a cruel, tiny little teaser, isn't it?!

Sabine freaks me out!  When is this story set again?  S2?  Pre-Dean's deal?

Author's Response: Sorry this is so short but I just realized that thinking I have to write long chapters has kept me from moving this story along so this may end up as many short but fairly frequent posts. This is set after John's death and will cover almost a year so it will deviate from canon in the time line. Hope you stay tuned.

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 12/11/08 08:29 PM · On: Chapter 4

What a great start to this part of the series.  I hope we'll get to see Jewels again, and maybe get to meet Gracie?

The series leading up to this was just so freakin' amazing -- I read it all in one go and then had to rush ahead to read this one!  lol.  I hope you won't prolong my suffering by being slow with updates.

It's your fault -- the story's too good.  I blame the addiction entirely on you.  :)

Author's Response:

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Ungen needs more readers like you!

I just posted the final chapter of La Mano de Dios so I'll be concentrating on Season now and hopefully I won't stray, although I do have a seed germinating for another story.

I like the story and I'll definitely be hanging around for more chapters. I was noticing that you either have a very vivid imagination

or knowledge of withcraft? You ever offer your "wordy services" to others who need a good spell in their story? :D

Author's Response:

Thanks so much. I've been 'into' witches and witchcraft all my life.  I even have a collection of witches, among other things. How strange is that for a good Catholic girl? Creepy - the spell Sabine used to summon Gusoin (so vain and arrogant, enjoyed) sounded like the real deal! Really would like to know what she's really up to, alter Sam's fate? Why do I think the price Sam and Dean have to pay will be an extremely high one, can't wait to find out!

Author's Response: She'll be summoning others, including a grieving father, as a means to her end.

Reviewer: lillelouis (Signed) · Date: 15/10/08 08:28 AM · On: Chapter 3

The girl is still an enigma to me, but I like your writing and the plot seemes to be very well worked out. It's a little mysterious, but I like that :D :D

Great job, I'll be waiting for the next update...

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the nice words. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 14/10/08 11:46 PM · On: Chapter 3

Sabine really isn't the good witch (some list of mischief, the plague, hmm, definitely not low level), this girl is evil, but another strong and fascinating character and it feels like watching a sinister dance to see how she attracts Sam, great!! So she never liked Dean, this might be - although highly dangerous - a good thing for the guys, Sam already seems to be under her charm and can't break it without his brothers help. Grand chapter, can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: When she is bad, she is horrid!  The main reason this is rated M.

Reviewer: bia1007 (Signed) · Date: 08/10/08 02:01 PM · On: Chapter 2

Oh yes, this is going to be dark just the way I love it, the charm an amazing and powerful prelude and Sam's behavior showing this challenge so started and they're right in the middle of it, grand chapter!!!

Author's Response: Sorry El Mano took me away from this one (that story just won't leave me alone!) but I've come up with a scenario that has me so excited. Poor Sam...or is it poor Dean?
