Great closure. This, Dean wanted to cry in frustration. Right there and then he recognized that he'd failed. As he watched John's expression turn stormy, he knew the uneasy truce had been broken, maybe even shattered beyond repair. is so sad. I'd want to hate John, but he has his reasons. Sam has his reasons, and he thinks it'd protect Dean. Dean loves them... And I loved this story, and of course I'm game for another one.

Even given Sam's hormone-driven hissy-fits, and Dean's insatiable appetite for anything in a skirt, John had to accept he must have done something right. Then again, as he watched Sam help his brother into the cab, he couldn't help but say with pride, "They are their mother's boys." Aw, awesome line. And great chapter. And yes I could do with more closure between the Winchesters. And this weekend? Perfect!

Yeah! John has finally made it to his boys and not a minute too soon! I had a feeling Christine wanted to chop off Smith's head! Go girl! Oh yay with a cherry on top!!!!! I loved every inch of this chapter! The tension was so tight you could have cut it with a knife! I was actually holding my breath while I read it! And poor Christine and Sam both terrified, with Dean trying to assure them... John's gonna kick some serious ass, I'm thinking!

Kelly, great chapter as always. John finally on the way to save his boys. i am glad you have Christine and Julie helping the boys in this story. not all woman are cowards. so typical Dean trying to protect Sam to the end. that is what we all love about him. can't wait for the next chaper.
