Awww I love Sam looking after his big brother, when he needs to. Caramel APPLE candy corn? I knew about the caramel chocolate stuff, and I'm munching on some plain caramel candy corn - brown, orange and white, but I didn't know about the apple variation. Hmm, have to look for it when I take the pickle relish back.     Sue

Author's Response:

Thanks, Sue!  I really appreciate you reading and leaving me a review.

Yep, I found the caramel apple candy corn (Brachs brand) at WalMart.  I knew it must be pretty good because at the time I spied it there were only two bags left on the shelf and I bought them both.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  I'm so glad you liked this story and I appreciate you the review.  Hmmm, I'll have to ask my muse if he knows what happened on that hunt.

Aww, that was so sweet,it's made me feel all warm and fuzzy lol.

I don't know what candy corn is. Is it like popcorn?

Author's Response:

Thank you, darkhunter.  I'm so very happy you liked this story.  Warm and fuzzy was exactly my goal.

Candy corn is kinda of a Fall phenomenon here.  They are these little triangular (maybe cone) shaped pieces of candy.  Traditional ones are graduated colors of yellow, orange, and white.  The caramel apple ones I mention here are brown, red, and white (they even have chocolate caramel ones which are two shades of brown with the white tip).  They're very sweet.  Truly they're just pure sugar--no nutritional value whatsoever.  lol  They're so sweet though that I don't know if I could really eat 22 pieces at a time.  They're popular in candy dishes on desks at work this time of year.  And it's one of these things where you don't wanna eat 'em but you just can't help taking one or two when you go by someone's desk.  lol

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...*is happy smiling puddle of goo on office chair*........

Just what I needed today when I'm feeling absolutely blah with a capital B, and everything aches.

Loved slightly loopy Dean - always a sucker for gorgeous big brother with his guard down. And the big puppy dog eyes - ROFL. And they worked!!! Sam didn't have a chance, did he? Weapons of mass coercion - lol.

And that bit at the end - when Dean insistently held out his hand for the promised lollies - that was too precious. As was offering most of his serving to little brother. Truly a wonderfully awwwww moment.

Thanks, Vanessa. I don't care that it was mushy - I love mushy. Especially on days like today. And Dean does have an excuse - he was high on pain medication - lol...*hugs*...

Jules

Author's Response:

Jules, thank you so much for the lovely review.  I'm so excited that you liked this little story.  We all need a little mushy now and then, don't we?  I know what you mean about those "BLAH" days.  I loved *is happy smiling puddle of goo on office chair*.  THAT brought a huge smile to my face.

OH, and this is the best line ever:

Weapons of mass coercion

You HAVE to use that in a story somewhere, hun!  (If you haven't already.)  I love it.

Aww Vanessa, that was really cute. I love a child-like, vulnerable Dean almost as much as a bloodied, battered one. Thanks for the quick pick-me-up!

Author's Response:

I know--isn't child-like vulnerable Dean just sooo great.  I too like him almost as much as bloodied, battered Dean.

I was so happy to see your review.  I've missed seeing you 'round here.  Thank you so much and I ecstatic that you enjoyed this little piece of fluff.
