I really wish I could give you a rough idea of when I'll be able to update but things have gotten hectic so all fanfiction has ended up on hold - though I'm hoping things will die down soon (especially over Christmas) so might be able to get one up about then.

I liked this chapter. I seem to remember that in Lucifer, it was Sam being killed that set Lucifer into destroying the world, and it was the offer of Sam being brought back to life that made him back down. So I'm a little confused as to why he said he was going to hurt Sam in this chapter. Maybe I don't remember that story correctly. Anyway, another great chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading! No, you remember correctly. But I do have a reason for Lucy's behaviour that needs to be explained. But basically, the tree being split down the middle is a pretty big symbol at the moment... and also Lucifer views Sam as his weakness (which I really should have made clear, lol, but it slipped my mind) and he doesn't want that weakness. But yeah, Mr Angel will be popping in some time to explain it better. Thanks again!
