Okay I am completely loving this and I have to say thanks to Fredo for sending me here.  Problem is my kids insist on eating (isn't that just crazy?) so I"m gonna have to wait and see just what happened to Dean this time (my vote is that iron banister, ugh)...thanks for the great read and I'll catch you later - Kel ;)

Good writing but geez, Dean's scalp injury alone sounds critical, and then he manages to get impaled yet!!!!  I don't mind a little brotherly angst, but I like it to be believable.

Thank you so much! Actually I was very careful with this one and consulted several medical authorities to make sure I kept it in the realm of possible. They were very patient with many question! Dean's scalping was not actually critical, it's aspetacular injury, but if treated, not that bad. My mother kindly did it to herself several years ago, although she was a little miffed whern I thanked her for the the help! LOL Although I guess I can't blame her!
