I enjoyed this very much---I liked that you made John a loving caring father. The impact on Dean seeing his father again was touching---Dean having to walk away was heartbreaking!!!Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks! It was really important to me to keep John as canon as possible, but also show he loved and cared for his kids (which i think the show proved anyway). I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Well where has this little gem been?? I gotta say while scouting for updated fics, I passed by this one a few times, not wanting to start a new one.
Well, I'm glad my curiousity got the better of me, this is pretty neat.
I just want Dean and Sam to scream out "Dad, it's me!" lol. John would probably exorsize them, stab them with some silver, then salt and burn them back to 2008 lol.
No wonder the boys don't remember this hunt. And Dean's not getting sick because a little him is being poisoned, is he? Hmmmm...

This story is really great! I started reading after the 3rd chapter was posted, and got to read all three at once. Now I can't wait for the next chapter. I love the idea of Sam and Dean running into little Sam and Dean, and I can't wait to find out what happened to them when they were little. I'm guessing the hunters their dad hunted with back then were themselves, but I can't wait to see how it plays out. Please update soon!
