Author's Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed the ending to Killer, I'm sorry that it took me so long to getting around to finishing it. I've had a hard time trying to concentrate while writing anything related to Supernatural these days thanks to a bad experience with a VS team. I was screwed over and it took away my desire for writing. But I'm back, working on the next story. It is still taking me a bit to get back into the groove, which is why I'm waiting until it is finished before I start posting. I'm hoping to get it finished and start posting it within the next couple of months, depending on how things go. But I'll be around, I've got a few new ideas for possible future stories...so we'll see. As always thanks for reading and reviewing!

Wonderful chapter, once more you are catching the brothers' connection in an amazing way! Such special scenes when Dean cared for Sam and Sam was comforted a bit by it; he's still so deeply hurt and they're facing such threats, heartbreaking! Sam making his way back to his brother, wonderful! Big relief they're together again. Just love to see these two - what effort ever - fighting not to lose each other, Sam's feeling of guilt deap-seated and with the latest murder (the shapeshifter's cruelty terrifying) getting worse; but then there is Dean and it seems he could filter down to Sam a bit. Enjoyed the little fun car scene a lot, what a reunion. Great chapter! And no worries, we will patiently for the update, hope your friend will be okay soon!

Sam is so burdened with how he's feeling after Meg and Dean is trying to help him deal with it. Their heads aren't exactly in this hunt at the moment and that could spell trouble for later on. Things definitely took a very bad turn now, a marvellous, breathtaking chapter!! Dean's reflection at the beginning that money and power is involved to smother the facts adds another highly dangerous element to an already dicey situation and Sam's condition is so serious and unstable he shouldn't even work a case (loved protective Dean a lot by the way), his visions showing clearly the emotional turmoil he's in. Thought my heart would stop when the shifter mirrored the way Sam hurt Dean in his nightmare (great effect!), hope poor Sam never will find out. And God, Dean (panicked a little reading "...Dean wasn't breathing", but you wouldn't do that, no way!), he's badly injured, how is he going to save his little brother? A lot of worries!
Author's Response: Money and power certainly do seem to be able to do whatever they want, including smothering facts. Not a good thing - but at least the brothers were able to gather up all the facts regardless. Sam certainly isn't in any condition to be hunting at the moment, and unfortunately things aren't going to get any better for him anytime soon. And of course I would never kill of either one of the brothers, I don't do death fics. But you'll find out how the brothers will get out of this at the beginning of this chapter. I promise. This chapter is rather confusing at first, but I like twist w/the shifter assuming Sam's form. However, I really don't like the thought of what this means for Sammy. Please tell me that you haven't killed Both Winchesters this time around? Dean better be alive next chapter, since someone's gotta save Sam from the shifter. Very evil cliffee!

Sam shielding Dean from the police, the way he rallys to his brother, this was so sweet and thoughtful, all Sam! A lighter chapter and a good opportunity to watch Sam and Dean working together so well, always a joy to see how complementary they are. The coming events truly cast their shadows, first all the traces of the shapeshifter, one creepier than the other and finally the badly wounded girl in the apartment, a horror scenario! Both brothers were shattered and upset and I'm worried quite a bit how they will cope when they're in the middle of this dread. Still (this is stunning every time and I enjoy these moments so much), even when they are in bad shape, they always worry and care so much about each other, wonderful, thank you for this!!!

Absolutely thrilling, frightening how the aftermath of BUABS weighs so heavily on Sam (perfectly linked with the story!) and with the killings they're investigating now the whole situation requires all the strength they have, so wow! As always loved the interaction between the brothers (wonderful car scene), you fully catch their bond!

Very intense start, I especially love the details from Born Under a Bad Sign. Intriguing look at Sam's emotional state after being possessed.
