Awesome! Incredible surprise turning the writer into Eve! I didn't think a happy ending was in the cards for the Winchesters but I liked this one. Maybe because there's the looming sense of something not quite right---now that's a Winchester's life.

The mardis gras bead joke was too funny! I would expect nothing less from Dean. I'd give him necklaces. The comparison of the force building within Dean to the vibration of the Impala was genius! Not only could I picture it, I could feel it. I love the story so far. Glad Sam's back to being good because I couldn't stand his whiny attitude any longer. Now he can kick ass with his brother which is how it's meant to be! Not sure what I'm expecting for the ending. Dean and Eve can't live happily ever after---it's just not possible for a Winchester. At least not here on earth. Hopefully, Sam and Dean will restore Eve's soul and the promise of Even and Dean being together in the life after this one will satisfy our need for Dean to be happy with his lover.

Wonderful chapter! I loved Eve's entrance! It was glorious and she clearly made it known that she was there under duress and would take no shit from any demon. She's an incredible character! Man, Sam sure did a turn-around! As a good guy he's strong, compassionate and undaunted but as a warrior for evil, he's a childish, unappreciative, jealous brat. Especially when he worried that Eve might overshadow his power. What a cry baby. I know it had to happen to make the story interesting but I still wanted to shank him. (I guess that's good since you made me hate a character that I usually love). Sam and Eve worked together so closely while Dean was gone. What a betrayal. Glad Adam got his. Yay Eve! I couldn't stand the whiny, jealous excuse for a man. And to think, he was the first man. Thank God that whole plan was reconfigured. I'm surprised Eve could stand the weasel long enough to procreate.

I did miss the commentary but I'm sure that the reason is worth it. I want Dean and Eve to happen too! He deserves to be happy as does she. She's sacrificed so much of herself for such a long time. They're perfect together. But if she has to sacrifice her soul so that he will survive and Good will be victorious, then so be it. It's exactly what Dean would do (and has done). Just...please don't let Eve rot in Hell. Let her have earned her reward in Heaven by this sacrifice.

Great chapter! I hate to see the end of Eve (and part of me is hoping that she'll be saved in the end) but I know whatever happens will make a fabulous ending.

Celtie, great chapter as always. had me crying again. i need tissues. I loved how you had John coming to Dean and the you had Mary and John together as well.
