Author's Response: Thank you, to be sure, to be sure, to be sure..... Hope you're not too disappointed with the old stuff. I can go back and see all the mistakes, but I've been told I'm not allowed to fix them, as it's a reflection of my journey. Still....I'm tempted..... Thanks, Leslie - I've answered this one, because for some strange reason the site has doubled up your review. Jules

Aw...I love that line above that you wrote!
Aileen and the leprechaun were so fun....you made them seem like real people!
Another creative, well roundd story that I totally enjoyed! Thank you so much for sharing your self with us!
Onward,
Karen
Author's Response: Hi, Karen, Thank you. I like to have the occasional OC that actually helps the boys, instead of trying to eat them or run them out of town. Aileen is a particular favourite of mine, although to my readers, the jury is still out on the leprechaun - LOL. This was one of my early ones, but it was fun researching the Gaelic phrases and sorting out the myths for the leprechaun. Thanks so much. Jules

Reviews are gold...but rainbows are better!
Your story is full of color!
Onward
Karen
Author's Response: Thank you, Karen - rainbows are special - reminders to us of God's promise not to destroy the world by flood like he did in Noah's day. So rainbows mean just as much, if not more than, gold. Thank you for your rainbows. Jules

Hi Jules, Me again and this's another coolest story Ive read just now. I read it one breathe and what all I can say..it's just mindblowing. I mean--'awe sam' actually. I started reading it at 6p.m and finished it just now. Awesome storyline, never read like that before. That thing 'Leipreachan' was actually harmless and kinda cool. I mean, it doesn't harm anyone; only grants their wishes. Oh my, Dean and his wishes really left my baby half dead. Though I can't blame Dean, he didn't know that kind old cobbler was the thing they were supposed to be hunting. But his unfortunate wishes left Sam so ill---dangerously ill indeed. Dean is a very very very good big brother, always looks after his little 'leanban' without any condition. I like those Irish words by the way, learned a lot from your story. And Sam kept fainting every five minutes---really had me worried. Dean did make the right wish or things would have been worse. I like the old landlady, she seemed very kind. In a word...this story is an A++++++++++...n story and definitely my fav one. Love it. Ritu.
Author's Response: Hi, Ritu! This was a nod to my Irish ancestors. I loved delving into Celtic myths and legends, actually. I've got another one on the drawing board, but it's not a leprechaun this time. It's something way more sinister....*cue dramatic music*.... Yes, Dean had no idea his harmless, slightly wistful longing for a few simple things in his hectic life would leave his brother frantically searching for him for three days without rest or sustenance. So glad you liked this one. It's an oldie, but I'm relieved to know it's a goodie. Jules

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Dean! Turn around and go get him! :D Awesome twist to an awesome ending of an awesome story!...Think that was enough awesomes? ;P
Author's Response: LOL! Did you want to give Sam a double coronary?? No way was he going to let Dean go back. Oh, yep, think there were just enough awesomes - thank you for them...*puts all awesomes in pocket for a rainy day*... This one was a nod to my Irish ancestry - and everyone needs a little bit of magic in their lives, don't you think? Jules

Freaking Leperchaun freak fro hell. He probably hell reserected him self to harm the young winchester. I don't real like that. Yes, i'm a fanatic of SAM . . . not for him to get hurt by anything being mid-evil.
Author's Response: Well, the leprechaun could be there to harm....or he could be there to help - it's all hinging on just what Dean's third wish was....Jules

Gee thanks for the reminder and the diffenition. Great epic on the vivid images of the conversation.
Author's Response: Thank you. Hope I've stopped scaring you now that things have gotten a little calmer around the boys....Jules

If it is that damn angle from hell CAStiel i'd kick its spirit ass. Sorry.
Author's Response: No, sorry - this story is set way before Castiel came on the scene. You need to delve into Irish folklore for this culprit....Jules

This is gettting realy scary. It reminds me of two parks one that is around my nighborhood is haunted and the other in the city of Tustin, California also haunted. Vivid imagery just sends shivers down by spine and thats not good. Thanks I like it so far and its scaring the hell out of me literly.
Author's Response: Thank you - and sorry for the scare. I wanted to make it quite a dramatic contrast between what Dean was perceiving and what Sam was actually experiencing....Jules

This is feeling like something from Friday the 13th. Very colorful and vivid imagery though.
Author's Response: Friday the 13th, eh? I have never seen the movie, so I'll take your word for it. Thank you for that....Jules

Very good! I am 1/2 Irish so I really liked the tie in!
Author's Response: Ahh - you too, eh? My ancestors were Irish and Scottish, so there's a lot of lovely rich culture to draw on there. Glad you enjoyed it.....Jules

What a wonderful story. Some beautiful brother moments, loved how the Leipreachan gave the greedy people what they deservsed lol. Well done.
Author's Response: Thank you - it was my nod to my Irish ancestry. And I like to think that not every supernatural entity is there to rip the boys' throats out - ROFL...Jules

What a neat story. It was so much like Dean to always come through for Sammy. His wishes were selfless, even though they weren't conscious ones. Poor Sam getting sick because he just couldn't give up on Dean was another typical feature. I loved your OC Aileen, she was just precious and also the Leipreachan, just had to love him. Really great writing.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for that. I had a lot of fun doing this one. I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much....Jules

Excellent story. love how the Leipreachan liked Dean. I love the song; I heard Bing Crosby sing it in Going My Way and fell in love with it. i use to sing it to my Nephews. again great story
Author's Response: Thank you. My grandfather's grandfather was Irish, and my Pop loves all the old Irish tunes. I've heard him sing Tooralooraloora quite often through my childhood. Thanks for reading - glad you liked it.

Oh! I really like your story, I could not help myself smiling while reading! Won't really hurt if this can stand as an individual episode for the next season!! heh heh Like a special for Saint Patrick's Day! lol Thanks for sharing it!
Author's Response: Thank you for that. I actually have Irish ancestry, so it was fun to delve into that background. And a St Pat's day special - that would be cool. Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoyed it. ...Julie

Thanks for the great read - loved the money at the end, though I don't know about that exchange rate. I'd think Leperchan gold would be worth more ;)
Author's Response: Well, I didn't actually reveal how much money Aileen gave Dean - could have been a bit of a bonus there. Thanks for reading!

Great story, I liked all the Gaelic lore. Laura
Author's Response: Thanks Laura - I like delving into my ancestry. The Irish and Scottish peoples have such a wealth of folklore and myths - it took hours trolling through websites to pick out the bits I wanted. But it was such fun doing it....Jules

I always want to comment on the stories I read but feel intimidated by it. Like I might say something wrong - but I figured with this story , I would take a chance.I read it out loud to my son and we both liked it very much.We ended up finishing it on St.Patrick's day and it was a nice end to a fun day.Thank you for sharing something that we will always remember with fondness.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I am really honoured that you liked it enough to read it to your son. That touches my heart. I write to satisfy my creative urge, but mainly to give something to others. Comments like yours reassure me that I am doing my job. Thanks again.

Loved the ending, put a smile on my face. The guy wishing to be a pillar in the community, the leprechaun granted his wish literally, lol, hilarious. I enjoyed very much your story mizpah, thanks for sharing it with us.
Author's Response: Thanks, honey - glad you liked it. I just felt I had to give the end a wee twist - and show the contrast between wishing wisely, and wishing unwisely...

I really enjoyed this, have you kissed the Blarney Stone? Dean thinking he might have wished for Sam to be shorter cracked me up, and there were some lovely brotherly moments through the whole story. Thanks for a great read - and happy St Patrick's Day!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! No, I haven't kissed the Blarney Stone. I would love to go over to Ireland and Scotland one day and see where the ancestors came from - I'm a 4th generation Aussie. Don't forget to wear the green on Saturday. Yes, poor Dean - I'm a Dean girl, but I do love playing with his mind in my fics...

The verbal sparring in this chapter was terrific. You have the boys' characters spot on. And even though they are anoyed at each other you have the undercurrent of brotherly concern just right. Well done.
Author's Response: The bond is never broken - no matter how narked they are at each other.

"Id's dot there" and vanishing geriatrics! Hilarious! I'm reading straight on.
Author's Response: Yes, well - had the flu at the time - and I was talking just like that - so it was rather easy to get Sam's blocked nose dialogue right.
