I am unfamiliar with Metalocalypse but I found this scene with Dean and Sam hilarious. I liked how you describe Dean's hunter instincts. It almost as if he has a superpower. I liked the description of the creature. Heard but unseen. All the Sam and Dean scenes were well done as usual.

Good beginning! I liked Dean's thoughts. I got confused in the middle though. Did Dean take first watch instead of Sam? It sounded like Sam was supposed to take first watch but Dean did instead. Did I read that wrong?
