Funny, I thought I was the only freak who smelled crayons and marvelled over the Lisa Frank folders and fairytale notebooks.  It's good to know I'm not alone.

I loved the Winchester story!  Dean and Caleb to the rescue!  Your references to the old cartoons and TV shows always take me back.

The story you shared about one of your clients was heart-breaking!  Next week I begin working in an at risk pre-school as a teacher's aide.  After hearing about your sweet eight-year-old I hope my heart can take it.

perfect timing Ridley, as my six years old starts primary school next month and i just received the nice long list of things she will apparently need... Outstanding oneshot, Dean is heartbreaking, and Caleb, he's just awesome, he could be a selfish teenager at seventeen, but no, he's just awesome. But that's what Calebs do right...

Great Story! Brought back many memories of the first day of school and going through the same thing as Dean. I now work with kids who are in the same spot too.

Way to get the word out on Wal-Mart back to school program. Any little bit helps! (Thank You for this)

That was just PERFECT!!! It really brought back memories.

I really love Sammy and Dean as children. YOu can see the innocent child in everything Sammy does. He is truely one beautiful child. AWESOME writing!!!

I love how Caleb needles Dean , calling Sammy runt- you can see the love he has for the boys in every sentence.

You always know how to touch your readers hearts -excellent storytelling.!!!

This was a GREAT!!!!! story.

Thanks for sharing !!!

BRAVO!!!!

Thank you so much Ridley for that heart warming and adorable story. You did completely bring back many happy memories of shopping with my gran for back to school supplies.

Your wee Sam and Dean own my soul!! I mean as Jim says Sam is irrisistable, I want to smoosh him. As for Dean, well he just ripped my heart out, trying so hard to protect Sammy from the hardships he endured. It was so great to see Caleb there to consider him.

It was so great to have this story, Im really enjoying the angst and trauma of"Winter" ,but it was nice to  see the boys in harmony again.

Your stories really do give so much pleasure

Aw...you're really tuggin the heartstring on this one Ridley...I don't know what has me more choked up this fabulous story or the idea that SCHOOL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......Sorry, I'm a mother of three ;)  I lost control for a minute there.

Anyway, great job and you're absolutely right, the high food/gas prices this season make it more necessary than ever to help where you can.  Thanks for the read - Kel

That's a wonderful story with a wonderful sentiment. Thank you.

Here in England there's nearly another month until the first day of school, and my kids are nearer Caleb's age than Sam and Dean; but I do still get a buzz out of buying stationary for them, even if its more lever-arch files and paper than crayola pencils.
