Beautifully written!  It's like I'm in Dean's head.  I especially liked Dean's viewpoint of the sunrise and the peaceful acceptance he has that this is his last day of life.  Being with his family made dying acceptable.

Oh wow, if this can second what on earth came first?

This is beautiful, I really like how if makes me feel reading it, almost as if I was sitting there watching the sunrise too. I like that Dean isn't phased by the thought of his death, just that of his family.
