I really enjoyed your birthday story. I was afraid for a nano second that his family forgot his 13th birthday! Great story!
Author's Response: Hi Moira. Geez, I feel awful. Your review totally slipped under my radar. I don't check my older stories that frequently. SORRY and a huge THANK YOU! Well, we couldn't have that! His family forgettin' his 13th birthday, I mean! That would be the worst thing you could do to a teenager, wouldn't it? Thanks for takin' the time, Ilka

Just great. No more than that. Thanks for a great story.
Author's Response: Hello Sharon. Nice to meet you. Thanks for the review and those lovely stars. Both very much appreciated. Glad you liked it. Take care, Ilka

Very cute. So that is where Dean started with the knife under his pillow? Interesting, and so adorable
Author's Response: Hi ya. Thanks for the review, whoever you are. Well, I have got this theory but there are many concepts floating around here. I have another (not that good) story, where you might learn more about my opinion on the knife and the reason of it being beneath the pillow. It's been a short timed challenge in RL not online. But I posted it anyway. Cheers, Ilka

Ilka, This is a wonderful Wee!chester moment. Dean's cracking voice is a reminder that he's still a boy, even tho' he's had to grow up far beyond his years. A very nicely layered glimpse of a normal day, that Dean already knows he has to bottle up and save to recapture in the inevitably darker days ahead. But for today, he was just a kid celebrating his birthday with his family, as it should be. Sue
Author's Response: Hello Sue. Thanks for the kind review and sorry that I didn't reply sooner. Have to work a lot at the mo. Well, I think life in the Winchester world simply isn't normal, not in the usual sense. There are always many layers in every moment, in every glimpse of a green or hazel eye. And I always thought Dean had to have some rare but happy moments otherwise he wouldn't have been able to survive this long in the cruel hunter world, much less be a father figure to Sammy. Peolpe have to have good moments to prepare and get over the bad ones. This is why I chose this story for Angela and her family. Cheers, see ya around. Ilka

We want to offer a thank you to everyone who took the time out to write a story for our sister. All the effort has been wonderful. I know she'll like this one ma'am; right about now a normal day is worth its weight in gold. Thank you, Sam, Jake, and Nate
Author's Response: Been a pleasure to write something for her and the whole family. You are in my prayers everyday. This is as much for her as for all of you! Please bring her my best wishes. Take care, Ilka

Very nice job with your first go at Weechesters and happy endings...lol. Thanks for the read ;) Kel
Author's Response: Kel, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Very much appreciated. Wee!chesters are kinda fun. Might have another go or do some flashbacks in my multichapters. Glad you liked it. Was fun to write about a puby (lol) Dean and a happily babbling Sam for once. Cheers, Ilka

I loved it. Everyone was happy and enjoying themselves for a change. Lol.
Author's Response: Hey ya, Lindsay. How nice of you to leave a review and let me know you still read my stuff. Happiness is rare in that family and it was a pleasure to write something good for a change. Might do some other Wee!chester things. It kinda reflects what I experience everyday at work (daycare). Cheers, Ilka

A sweet, uplifting story - Good Work!
Author's Response: Hey Ash. Haven't had the pleasure of one of your reviews (and stars) before. Glad you sneaked a peek. Sweet and uplifting is exactly what this thing was meant to be like as Angela needs a lot of that at the mo. Glad to hear it works. Have been a bit unsure as I normally do angsty torturous stories. Cheers, Ilka

A fantastic story sharing a normal birthday for Dean. Definitely speaks of family. My heart always aches for the boys when they get so much joy out of the simple things. I loved it very much. Never fear, you did a great job!
Author's Response: Thank Nessa: Coming from you encouragement and appraisal are worth 10 reviews. Not that I would deny more though! HAHA! And those stars too. It is heartbreaking to see them in their innocence in childood, isn't it? Always sweet to put a smile on Dean and Sam's faces. Although a pain battling grin through clenched teeth as grown ups is always the sexiest... Hm. So? You read up in LJ? Register and leave a message thereif ya like. Cheers, Ilka

Then your night should be freakin' daylight hun! That was brilliant - and ROTFL - loved the idea of coffee automatically coming with 'official' hunter status! And the torment of feeling all forgotten and alone on his birthday? Aw, knew you couldn't keep it up for long! Great!
Author's Response: Hehe. Had to make him suffer a little. It's what he does best. Glad you like this feeble attempt. And thanks for the review session. Now I feel obliged to do ricochet. Might have to wait till tomorrow afternoon. Gotta get up early tomorrow. Loves ya, Ilka

Hey Ilka Hon, See you can do 'happy'. This was sooo sweet, left me with a warm fuzzy feel!! It's lovely to see the caring sharing side of John for a change and to see his pride in the boys. I guess John's not real big into chick flick moments either is he?? Sammy was delightful squeaking away and I just loved Deans' voice betraying him at the end of his holler. Nice choice of presents, can't beat a Metallica tour 'T' and that beautiful Bowie would make a wonderful 13th birthday present for any self respecting hunter. It was good to see you couldn't quite resist a couple of unbidden tears, at least they were from positive emotions. It made me laugh to think that on his 13th birthday, Dean instantly turned into a typical teenager and slept in till 11AM, same thing happened to my one! Lovely happy story, made me smile! I think maybe I got to be the first reviewer too, unless anyone has snuck in whilst I typed this up!! Big hugs - Jane
Author's Response: Jane. You are the first! And thanks so much. A lot of people read it so far but sadly, none left a review. Left me wondering if it was any good at all. Teenagers are fun to write about. And I had a lot of them to do research on while I was staying in UK the last two weeks. Moaning and grumbling all the time but sweet if they are in a good mood. Thanks for those lovely stars, too. Hugs ya. Ilka
