NG- As an admin for UnGen - I always know when a story gets posted- so it isnt like I came here expecting to find a new chap - however - also as an admin for UnGen - I think its my duty to ... ask, beg, plead, supplicate, beseech, implore, threaten, lie prostate on the ground, sacrifice, bleed, or whatever else it takes to get you to update this story before I lose my freakin mind! Hmmm- did I mention that I was totally hooked???? You and Gaelic- you're killing me with suspense on your stories - but remember - I get revenge with the VS
Author's Response: Lol, Tree, that is the best news I've had in days! I'm glad someone missed me, hee! Sorry for the lag, but I had another tangle with a nasty little kidney stone/infection and had to have it busted up via lithotripsy last Thursday. I didn't stop hurting until I passed some BB size fragments on Sunday...but I'm still not up to par. All I want to do is sleep and I don't know if its related or something else. Yesterday was my first day back to work...and fun stuff must come last. I sincerely thank you for doing your duty as an admin :) and sending me a reminder...I promise I'll get it up as quick as I can.

That is some mighty fine HurtDean! Impaled on a friggin' tree limb?! Argh! And very nice foreshadowing with the odd glow in his eyes and the fact that he hasn't regained consciousness...theories are swirling around in my little brain and I'm so curious to see if any of them turn out to be accurate. I'm officially hooked!

Dean is so broken physcially and emotionally. Knowing Dean he must feel so guilty to not have save the boy's life. Sam, taking care of him, I love it when the brothers take care of each other. What about the odd glow that Sam saw in Dean's eyes, intriguing. I'm so loving this story so far. Nicole, can't wait to know what you've in store for the brothers.

I get to be the first on this chapter! Well, unless someone swoops in here while I write this. I’m happy to beon this journey with you. There are very few authors who I enjoy the ride with, and when it comes to you, Nicole, I love sitting in the Impala with you. Alright, what I loved. hurtDean of course. You threw him over a cliff! Geez! And I have to admit that them being wanted by the law is a huge thorn in my side with my other fan fiction I'm writing on the side. Makes it harder to pose as law, but I tell you it makes for good hurt drama. 'Cause hospitals are hard to check into when you're wanted. Um...I just stated the obvious...feel free to slap me. The glow in Dean's eyes...so he fell off a cliff and is "under the influence" of whatever made that poor guy jump. *shivers* Please tell me there is more soon.
Author's Response: Caroline, that just might be one of the sweetest things someone has said to me in a review. At least top 5. Thanks, you've made me feel *special* and that doesn't happen often. Oh, there's more, just not sure how soon. I'll do my best, though. Yes, I actually had to tone down the hurt!Dean because of the no hospital issue. I mean, they could find help somewhere, but being new in New Mexico, of all places, who're they gonna turn to? Besides, I like Sammy care a little too much. Eventually, though, I may have to find another way to treat Dean. If this was WUC verse, I'd just use Jay, lol. Believe it or not, this hurt was intentional to help bring the story components together...yes, I actually have a plan this time. Woo hoo!

I'm definitely intrigued and anxious to see where this ride takes us. Great job with the brotherly banter. Surely this vision is one Sam can prevent!! I can't bear to think of the alternative!

I'll not say much, but I will say that I'm the type that does not like to be surprised in a bad way, so I always warn of impending Dean death...which I've only done once and it's completely out of my system...I think, lol. Is this April, btw?

*Reads first line and sees Desert Eagle* I love you! Okay...I digress...but Hells yeah! *Reads that Dean uses it to blow his brains out!* NO!!!!!!! He did not just...*Reads that it is a vision and breaths sigh of relief* Okay...let me collect myself and get back to you at the end of this chapter. “Damn, they must’ve had to slaughter that pig. What is taking so long?” Ha! My dad says that all the time. *laugh* I loved the banter at the end. However, woman, that opening was not too kind to Dean. I hope Sam figures this out... Awesome work with this chapter. Can't wait to see what more you come up with. :)

You know, I totally forgot to put in my author's notes that you don't have to cock most modern guns, but that you can and that it would help lessen your chance of backing out of suicide at the last second...I totally owe all that to Kohadril and his endless knowledge of guns.
