think maybe towels are needed after all! but you can hear the grin in the words of the letter, and the image of Sam finally sleeping peacefully is just beautiful - i can just picture Bobby's face when he comes in a minute after 'noon, sharp' and sees him there.

lovely, and now i don't feel so worried about posting my own, less than cheerful fic for Angela! thanks!

Thanks for the lovely review. I almost added the scene where Bobby comes to check up on Sam, but I wanted to end with "wherever else Dean was, he was always in his brother's heart."  Glad you could visualize this next scene.

I was a little worried about posting this, but I went back and reread the funny or serious part of the challenge rules, took a deep breath, and posted it. I'm really happy that everyone's liking it so far.   Sue

Thank you for the issue warning.  You definitely made me cry . . . you . . . you . . . jerk (absolutely meant in the kindest of Sammy's tones, of course).  Wow, those Winchester Bros. sure know how to evoke emotion.  And I really, really want to try those M&Ms, they sound delicious.  I've yet to see them up here in Rochester.

Thanks for the loc. I was getting teary-eyed writing this, so I figured I'd better include the tissue alert.

The M&Ms were a special edition, released for Easter this year. By the time I tried them, they were on clearance at Target, so I stocked up on a few bags;-)    Sue
