Winchester Wet War - seriously, what's not to like? Ooh, those towels HURT!!!! Lovely imagery with the water droplets and the towels all hungry and panting for some smooth Winchester loveliness to wrap around/slide down. I think I want to be a water droplet..... Thanks for this - gave me a nice ending to a really tough day. Jules

That was wonderful. Makes me wish I was that water, I'm just gonna slap a sticker on my head that says perv. But really the personification of the water and the towels was brilliant. And it's always nice to read about the boys having fun.

This is funny, the towels getting excited over being able to cling to the boys bodies and the water running down Dean's body frolicking and getting hysterical at the feel of his skin. Oh my goodness. *pants slightly* you had me hooked when i saw the banner! Your writing is so descriptive it positively stops me in my tracks: Dean let his hands fall and pinned him with a look that could have been broken up into cubes and served in expensive alcohol. Giving clingy towels and water droplets a mind of their own was brilliant! Made me -- us all, i think -- want to be one of those tiny beads of liquid that had finally reached its Nirvana. What an incredibly awesome story! I absolutely, without a doubt, adored your descriptions of the towels and water droplets reactions. Made me want to be a towel--or better yet a water droplet UNDER said towel. It just doesn't get any better than this. (Cookie6 pretty much said it all.) (The whole water droplet religion thing reminds me of this funny bit on Aussie TV about people worshiping at the alter of Jensen Ackles Ass. hehe) And the whole towel fight was fantastic--I mean, who can resist two half-naked hunks in a towel snapping war??? Not I. Definitely not I. Now I think I'm too intimidated to write a "Get Well, Angela" story. None of my ideas hold a candle to this. :-)

OK, first, your banner had my full and undivided attention!!! Holy Moly girl... What a cracker this ficlet is! You met the criteria well and truly - I'm sure Angela's cup of 'family and gratuitous shower scenes' is overflowing! Mine sure is! Your descriptions caught my breath *smirk* and the pov from the towels and the water drops was hilarious! This line had me falling off my chair - "It was having such a heady time of giddy excitement that it failed to realise the water underneath the towel was fairly squealing with the necessity of finding its own religion pretty damn quick, just so it could blurt the appropriate name of the new deity at full watery volume" Good grief girl, how good is that?! Awesome description that says it all. How we all wish we were towels and drops of water... And what a hoot were the threats: "I've got a towel too - and I'm not afraid to use it!" Freaking hilarious!!
"But mine's wet!" turned my giggles to full blown hiccups!! "Semi- nekkid" hunters in action!! On a serious note, your internal dialogues highlighted how in tune the boys are with each other, great job doing this. Your "Death By Whup-Ass, towel style...ever witnessed by cotton or human" was original, fun and cute. I loved it!
Author's Response: Awww... thanks! I was worried it wasn't 'family' enough, but when are stories about The Boys *not* about family? So I guess I can sort of get away with it.... and if there are towels and dripping wet Winchesters, who cares for deep and meaningful stories anyway? LOL! After all, I only watch the show for the plot.... Thanks again for a fab review - you have renewed my faith in my scribblings.
