wow. as always, your story leaves me speechless - which sucks, 'cause i loved it and i really, REALLY want to review it properly! Here goes, anyway: This story is dark - wonderfully, vividly pitch black. The characters - both original and canon - undergo a real journey and it's been a pleasure to feel as if I was right there with them - a testament to your writing! And your 'monster of the week' is purely, viscerally terrifying, both in its ambiguity (breaking out the big words here!) and then in all its horrible glory. All that, and then you leave us with a sense of hope, something to look forward to in our imaginations, and that lovely image of them sitting together, side by side, sharing the weight. Thank you! So this looks like both good news and bad news.... Good news that the thing, whatever the hell it was, is finally dead, phew. I wasnt expecting it to end so soon...... And the bad news is like (keeping my fingers crossed here, again) that hope they both are alive. So, is the next chapter going to be last. Just hope not. Well, gotta say this entire chapter was full of action and loved eack and every part of it.... AWESOME!!!

You're killin' me, Muffy! Every now and then I re-read this (why, I don't know, as it hurts so bad to read it my stomach CHURNS!) and I hope that the next chapter will just materialize out of thin air....
