The prologue was sooo sad. This chapter really sets the story and I'm looking forward to reading more! One comment/question: If the 6'1" man is 120 lbs he would be emaciated not simply slight......if that is what you were going for than it works. If not, you may want to raise the number to about 150-160. In the show Jensen probably weighs about 180.
Author's Response: Good catch on the weight thing! Yeah, the number is low but emaciated was exactly what I was going for, but thanks for mentioning it because at any rate, I wasn't sure what a good number would be. I'm terrible at guessing a persons weight so I wasn't sure where to start as a basis for coming up with a believable number, but he is supposed to be emaciated, so I'm glad that it works in that regard. Unlike in the show, Dean does not come back healed, he'll be in really bad shape on both a mental and physical level. Thank you so much for the review! I love CC so I really appreciated it. Hey Hunny. Well, look I don't do death fics but i came to read something else of yours having happened across your current story and found this. It's intruguing hun. You're painting an interesting picture of the Dean who has returned and the role reversal dynamic is interesting. I'm not pro death fic as I say but that's cause i find them upsetting but I'll stick with ya to see where this goes so gonna tag ya hun. bev x

I thought after the season finale, nothing could hurt as bad- I was wrong. Sammy killing Dean....too much - but, as I've said rght along-one cannot live without the other-so I'm guessing Sam would follow his brother. this is well written-you are very talented.

I usually don't read death-fics, but after the season 3 finale things changed a bit; what you describe here - and you do this in a stunning way I might add - meets my biggest fear, that in fact Dean could be broken beyond repair. So I understand how Sam feels and find it quite comprehensible he thinks about killing dean - as an act of love (also think Sam would be right behind his brother then). Still hope with all my heart they will find a way out, together! Very painful to read, but soooo good and no way I will miss the update, great work!
