The bulletproof vest was a great idea - the Winchester boys should wear them all the time. But then we wouldn't get glimpses of....never mind! I love the whole scene with Bobby - him demanding Sam explain his cussing and denigrating their "silly codes" Hilarious ! And now, another cliffhanger! What are you trying to do to me? Really looking forward to the next chapter. See you soon?

Finally!!! I've been looking for the next post a couple times every day. The long string *#*&% made me laugh so hard. Even better was when the second one was left up to the imagination. Great writing!

Okay, after the heart attack about Sam getting shot I am doing much better now. And I even like Forge now...smart man for giving Sam the bulletproof vest. Maybe not so smart for not leveling with the brothers to begin with, but I guess you just have to learn. Great chapter and I cannot believe there is only one more to go!

Yay! You posted another chapter, (I'm late again, aren't I ?) and it's letting me cut and paste! I love this part because it demonstrates the trust and commitment in the brothers' relationship so well:
“Dean if it was me…..I don’t remember.” Dean nodded, studying him, scrutinizing him for a minute or so. “Then it wasn’t you.” He’d said it with such conviction Sam could only feel grateful, and for the first time since he’d left Dean standing in the store Sam felt things might really be ok, someday soon. Also loved Tim Forge's musings on Dean Whoever, all the action in the yard, and the cliffhanger! Grrrrrr. Can't wait for the next update!

I had to end it where I did, because the next one starts with Sam, back tracking to him getting back to the house and I couldn't figure a decent way to do it all in one chapter. I definately didn't see that one coming. I never thought that Redding could be involved. I thought that maybe Forge was somehow involved though. I did rember that there was a 2nd man and was waiting for him to show up. Can't wait for more.

Oh, my lord! That was great! But what a cliffie!!!!! Now I don't know if Sam got shot as well or not! Whew. I didn't see that one coming - not with Redding. Forge - I had him picked for one of the baddies because he was acting like such a #$&^*% ! Good cop-bad cop just got completely turned on its head. But yay - our Psychic Wonder remembered that there were two of them! And it wasn't him doing it to himself! Great job, Bayre. I read this as soon as you posted it, but haven't had a minute since until today to review! Sorry I'm late, really wanted to write and tell you how much I am enjoying this story. You did a great job with this chapter, both with the action and the relationship between the brothers. Loved Dean making Sam a hot chocolate, berating himself for being an ass, smashing the mirror on principle and trying to coax Sam to remember what really happened. Is my bias showing?!! And I love this line: Dean could do safe and secure. He sure can. And I love the Watcher's last line too: They had each other, to fight for each other, protect each other. That was how battles were won. It was how they would win theirs. Beautiful! A few more chapters to go you said? Can't wait!

I love when they're sitting in the car at the end of the chapter trying to figure things out. Now--you've even got me second guessing! I thought I knew what was going to happen. Way to keep the suspense going!! I want to find out what happens but I don;t want the story to end (Can you do that?????)
