Lol, that is the big question, isn't it? The answer will be here soon, but just for a day or two I'm going to relax back and enjoy the cliffhanger. Because from where I'm standing, it's so much more fun :)

Hi, short and sweet, this one, wasn't it?  Liked the change of pov and you described Dean stuck in the amulet very well.  Wow, that was a weird sentence.  Anyway, you know what I mean.  And Sam grounding him again when even the thought of his dad couldn't, that was fab.  And the whole 'never it, you' thing, being a stiff upper lipped Brit, I get that completely. 

God, we're a soppy bunch aren't we?

Yeah, but I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with being soppy about those two guys. Absoluely nothing. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Though Dean is not in the amulet as such - it's just what still binds his soul to the world. But there will be more of that later on (like actualy explanations, lol) and we will visit Dean again. We need to check in occasionally to see how he's holding up, after all ;)

Another good chapter.  Liked the way you had the repeating thoughts in Sam's head just going back to 'way to save Dean' and his reluctance to leave the body behind.  I kept wanting to shout 'take him with you!'  He's got his soul around his neck, why not stick his corpse in the trunk?  But I guess the protective charms will have to do for now.

Can't wait 'til next update!

Lol, the image of Sam heaving Dean's body into the trunk of the car made me laugh. I think Sam would have felt better having Dean's body around, but lugging around a corpse would be so impractical ;-)

Oh that was a fantastic chapter.  I let you off the whole 'Bobby possession' issue now, cos I guess he was a (sort of) willing possessee (is that a word?)

Loved your descriptions of Ruby trying to move Bobby and it all being a bit awkward.  I know she was weakened but I'm gonna guess that it's also like driving a different car - if you're used to a sporty little number but are stuck borrowing a pick up truck, that takes awhile to adjust to.  And Sam's observation of the individual demon's traits leaking through into their 'hosts' expressions was interesting.

Mostly though, I love that you're giving us hope that Sam could still save Dean through their brotherly bond.  That is how it should happen, dammit!

Really good work and can't wait for next update!

I guess that still Ruby should have had more trouble possessing paranoid Bobby, but if you let me off the hook for the sake of setting this scene the way I needed to, I'm glad. I normally am a stickler for things like that, and they irk me a little, but *cough* writing this I totally overlooked it *cough*.

I love the car metaphor. It wasn't an intended reason for Ruby seeming awkward in Bobby's body, but it's a great way of reading it.

And hey, I'm a fangirl too. So whatever hope I got left, I'll cling to until season 4 comes along. Whatever it takes. I'm so glad you're enjoying this, thanks a lot for the review. I'm trying to get the next chapter up faster, it's already finished, but it always takes a little time to get validated.
