I guess this was the best chapter in this story. And yeah ofcourse, this story so needs a sequel. Also I'm interested to know what exactly the demon told Dean at the house. Feel bad for poor Sam.......And of course the scene between the brothers during their 'talk' would be worth reading. I dont mind how long it takes...... take your time but please do post a sequel. WOW!!!! I LOVE this chapter. Going to give it a ten!!!!!

Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you like it! (FYI, that really long chunk of italics towards the beginning that started with "You can see the truth now" is what the demon told Dean. Sorry if that was confusing.
As for the sequel... I've had ideas forming in my head, but it'll be awhile. We'll see where real life takes me, I suppose. :) Thanks for the review, and have a great one!

Great story from start to finish!! I'm glad you updated because I was missing this. I like the way you finished it, and like you I look forward to seeing how Kripke resolves this. I have to believe that it wouldn't change how Dean feels especially after what he been through. Keep writing!!! Can't wait for your next one!!!

That was ace, I loved it. "Not that the blood itself mattered to Dean. Sam was his brother, his family, and nothing Sam or anyone else said would change that." Just as Bobby has always said... Isn't it true that you can't have one Winchester without the other? Great stuff!

Have just stumbled across this awesome story and read all 8 chapters. The storyline is great, love the way we are seeing Sammy through his own words. The dialogue is perfect and you have kept both boys true to character - well done! Can't wait to see what happens - although I fear an evil plot bunny lurking...what is happening to Sammy??? lb.

It was so sad when Dean admitted hoping Sam had died and was with him. that does so much in explaining how horrible Hell was for him. I like that you continued with Kripke's version of Hell.

Through the journal entries we see how much Sam is suffering. He was a prisoner too. Wonderful technique! Love the bit about Batman! It echoes the joke from the episodes.

Great attention to detail. I didn't even think about the tattoo on Dean's chest. Interesting idea that in the brief time Dean was in Hell he's already become slightly tainted. The little bit of brotherly banter was a relief. It shows that Dean is still in there. Dean's reactions to the protective wards is worrisome. I don't know what to make of that.

I think it's great that Dean is taking an interest in his baby.. i think he gets the peaceful feeling from that car...and i think that it's sweet that Sam isn't really pushing Dean to do anything, or asking awkward questions...at least so far... :p Next chapter....
